  1. Statistics Spain * Spain are unbeaten in 11 European Championship finals matches, a new record. Their last loss in the competition was the 1-0 reverse to Portugal at Euro 2004. * They have kept nine consecutive clean sheets in knockout games at major tournaments. * Iker Casillas has had to deal with just one shot on target in Spain's two knockout games at Euro 2012 - that was a free-kick from France's Yohan Cabaye. In total, the Spanish captain has made 12 saves so far - six of them against Italy in the opening game. * Cesc Fabregas and Santi Cazorla could both make their eighth European Championship appearance as a substitute, which would be a new record. * The last time Spain failed to win a match after opening the scoring was on 6 September 2006, when they lost 3-2 away to Northern Ireland in a Euro 2008 qualifier despite Xavi netting first. * Vicente Del Bosque could become only the second coach to win the World Cup and European Championship, after West Germany's Helmut Schön in 1972 and 1974 Italy * The Azzurri have reached the final of eight World Cups or European Championships. * Italy won their only European Championship in 1968, winning a final replay 2-0 against Yugoslavia at Rome's Stadio Olimpico. The first match, held two days earlier, ended 1-1. * The Azzurri also reached the final of Euro 2000, losing 2-1 to France, for whom David Trezeguet scored a golden goal. * Cesare Prandelli's men have won only two of their last eight games (excluding shoot-outs). * The Italians have been involved in eight goalless draws at European Championship finals - more than any other side. * Uefa statistics show Italy have attempted 97 shots (including blocked efforts), more than any other side at Euro 2012. Penalties: * Spain have won four of seven penalty shoot-outs, including three of their last four. * Italy's overall record is three wins from eight shoot-outs. They lost their first four but have won three of the subsequent four (beating Netherlands in 2000, France in 2006 and England in 2010, but losing to Spain in 2008). * There have been 37 shoot-outs at European Championships or World Cups, with 361 spot-kicks taken, 270 of them successful (a 74.8% conversion rate). * Historically, shoot-outs involve an average of 10 kicks (9.8) - however, recent contests have been briefer. Only one of the last 10 at World Cups and European Championships has seen at least 10 penalties taken.
  2. Balotelli set to break individual records with Italy win The Manchester City striker could have one of the most impressive medal hauls in football for a player under the age of 22, if he helps the Azzurri to the Euro 2012 title on Sunday The Manchester City and Azzurri striker, born in August 1990, already has three Serie A titles, a Premier League title, a Champions League, a Uefa Super Cup and two national cups to his name. Were he to add the 2012 European Championships to that tally on Sunday, he would join the football greats as far as early achievements are concerned. Pele, Messi and the Brazilian Ronaldo are joint leaders of this hall of fame with nine trophies to their name aged 21. If Balotelli wins Euro 2012 he will join three of the greatest ever football players, including his personal icon Ronaldo, among the most successful under-22 footballers to play the game. Though Pele never played in Europe, his achievements aged 22 already included two World Cups, won in 1958 and 1962, while Ronaldo had several national titles in Brazil, Holland and Spain to his name. Messi had two Champions Leagues (won in 2006 and 2009) and three national titles in Spain upon turning 23. Many all-time greats were yet to win a trophy aged 21, including Zinedine Zidane and Roberto Baggio, while Diego Maradona had only won a Metropolitano championship trophy in Argentina before moving to Barcelona and experiencing his first successes on European soil.

Spain won it twice 1964 & 2008 and were runner ups on 1984 Italy won it once in 1968 and were runner ups on 2000. So Italy needs this cup badly. I will go for italy. Forza Italia.

  9. The love of field and coppice, Of green and shaded lanes, Of ordered woods and gardens Is running in your veins. Strong love of grey-blue distance, Brown streams and soft, dim skies - I know but cannot share it, My love is otherwise. I love a sunburnt country, A land of sweeping plains, Of ragged mountain ranges, Of droughts and flooding rains. I love her far horizons, I love her jewel-sea, Her beauty and her terror – The wide brown land for me! The stark white ring-barked forests, All tragic to the moon, The sapphire-misted mountains, The hot gold hush of noon, Green tangle of the brushes Where lithe lianas coil, And orchids deck the tree-tops, And ferns the warm dark soil. Core of my heart, my country! Her pitiless blue sky, When, sick at heart, around us We see the cattle die – But then the grey clouds gather, And we can bless again The drumming of an army, The steady soaking rain. Core of my heart, my country! Land of the rainbow gold, For flood and fire and famine She pays us back threefold. Over the thirsty paddocks, Watch, after many days, The filmy veil of greenness That thickens as we gaze. An opal-hearted country, A wilful, lavish land – All you who have not loved her, You will not understand – Though earth holds many splendours, Wherever I may die, I know to what brown country My homing thoughts will fly.
  10. The republic is 19032 days old, or 456768 hours, which is equal to 52 years. Happy birthday Somalia
  11. Liibaan, lets be honest Mr XT seems to be a goner, I know you want to believe otherwise but the guy broke the golden rule of Khatumo which was not to talk to SL unless it accepts KH. Its Khatuma's failure not to accommodate this angry young man who was more effective with his SSC than the current KH. Look at the pics, the body language between him and Ali Khalif, the guy was not happy.

Xaaji Abwaan is talking about, if the koonfurians sent Morgan and Gaani to kill you, you sent Godane & Afgaani to kill us.
  15. Xaaji Xunjuf;846886 wrote: ^ Thats also addressed if you visit hargeysa's university there are special courses about that. How is Qad killing people though. But its also good to remember what happened in the past people with no history have no future u know. How is Qad killing people? come on Xaaji, you know what qad is doing to our societies, physically and mentally. Do you know Burco has one of the highest mental illnesses in Somalia due to Qat, and what about your youth dying in the desert? Yes history is important, but the way you guys write history is clannish and bias, Why don't you teach them the history of the Dervishes and how they fought the isticmaar.
  16. Naxar Nugaaleed;846883 wrote: Xaglatoosiye was never on that ship. Rer buhoodle have already rejected Xaglatoosiye and his stance on Khaatumo. This is a xaabsade move that is of no consequence. Taleex and buhoodle are clear on where they are headed, nobody cares who eats dinner in hargeisa I don't know why Khatumo did not accomodate this guy, at least they should've made him one of the three presidents, but it seems the whole process was directed by Galeyr who did not like XT. Lets see if he can be as effective as Xaabsade and take Buuhodle with him to Hargeysa.
  17. Xaaji Xunjuf;846681 wrote: Interesting book i will read this book. You guys need to write books about development, how to fight poverty, and how to fight Khat which is killing and maiming more than Morgan or Gaani did, You need to address the problems of your youth dying in their hundreds while crossing the great desert of Libya.
  18. OMG. Where is Liibaan and Aaliyah when you need them, this is definitely bad for the Khaatumo project. Has Xaglatoosiye jumped off the ship?? We know the guy was not happy at Taleex and felt betrayed, but never thought he will stab from the back.

  22. With a coast length of (3,980 sq mi) of Indian Ocean and the Red sea, Somalia has the longest coast in Africa, but un fortunatly most of this beutiful beachs are not being used for our advantage, with its reachness of sandy beachs, clear water, amazing reefs, and tropical islands Somalia could be discribed as the Barbados or Bahamas of Africa. here are some of the pictures I wanted to share with you.
