Northern would suffice and the town is looking great. The Siilaanyo administration seems to have devoted more to the port town, it is Somaliland's economic hub so developing it should remain a top priority rather than focusing on inland towns.

The international community gave invitations to these maamul goboleeds, so someone other than myself must believe it is fair for them to represent their interests by being present.
If you believe they shouldn't be present, then the failure lies with the SFG. Do not get emotional if the world believes the SFG has turned into a tribal association like the others.

4 people out of 20-odd ironically proves your point invalid. We've seen it multiple times, don't make me post images of his delegation to other countries including Japan. As I said, this conference is for each region to get its share.

Faroole is there to get his share for Puntland, not giving speeches. As Ditoore Cusmaan would say, niyahow the time for talking is over. The SFG delegation which is leading in the name of Somalia is strongly dominated by the president's own sub tribe so the rest of the dowlad/maamul goboleeds (whether Puntland, Galmudug, interim Jubba) are there to make sure they get their fair share of reconstruction/construction funds.
This is sadly not reconciliation.

Brussels (RBC) Somali leaders have started to gather at Brussels, Belgium where the New Deal For Somalia will take place on Monday, RBC Radio reports.
Somali president Hassan Sheikh Mohamud spearheaded a high level government officials have reached Brussels on Saturday. President Mohamud will co-chair the Monday international conference.
Meanwhile senior officials from Puntland, Galmudug and the new interim administration from Jubba have also reached on Brussels.
Prior to the opening of the Monday conference,a joint release from president Hassan Sheikh Mohamud and Catherine Ashton, High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy said that the event will endorse a Compact between Somalia and the international community that will enable the country to move faster down the path towards peace and prosperity – in line with the “New Deal” approach to help countries in fragile and post-conflict situations.
The event will set out a clear political vision for Somalia’s future, set agreed development priorities, and establish financing mechanisms and ways to ensure the aid is delivered effectively and held accountable. In this way it will support the political process among Somalis to finalize their constitution and define the federal state they want.

Introduction
Somalia's eight-year transition ended in September 2012, with the peaceful handover of power from the leadership of the Transitional Federal Institutions to a new Federal Government. A Provisional Constitution, in place since August, paves the way for the re-building and consolidation of new, representative federal institutions by the end of 2016, when popular elections are due. Against the backdrop of an improving yet fragile security situation, the new Federal Institutions of Somalia are tasked with establishing a viable federal state that will end years of transitional governance and usher in a permanent political order.
Somalia is now on a path to emerge from fragility. It is re-asserting its sovereignty and taking both ownership of and responsibility for its future. To do so, it has embarked on a political reconstruction process, guided by the New Deal principles for fragile states agreed in Busan in 2011. A key milestone of this process is the adoption of a Compact, which provides a new political, security and developmental architecture that will help frame the future relations between Somalia, its people and the international community. This is the beginning, not end, of Somalia's political and socio-economic reconstruction process.
As key partners, Somalia and the European Union (EU) will be co-hosting a High Level Conference on A New Deal for Somalia in Brussels on 16 September 2013. The Conference's underlying objective is to sustain the positive momentum in Somalia, to ensure that the country stays on the path to stability, peace and brings prosperity to its people. The New Deal is the driver of this process. The Brussels Conference will therefore bring together the international community and Somalia to endorse this Compact, pledge support to enable its implementation and, above all, re-commit to this new political process.

The United States of America Welcomes the Decision of the Somalia Government on Syria
September 11, 2013
The U.S. Special Representative for Somalia, James McAnulty, welcomes the decision of the Federal Government of Somalia to join 33 other nations in supporting the September 6 Joint Statement on Syria. “Somalia has shown great leadership on the issue of chemical weapons, acceding to the Chemical Weapons Convention on May 29, 2013 and becoming the 189th State Party to that landmark agreement”, stated the Special Representative.
Somalia is in proud company with many of its Arab League and Organization of the Islamic Conference partners in condemning the brutality of the Assad regime in its horrifying chemical attack on the people of Damascus.
As the world prepares to gather in Brussels for a key international conference on establishing a new framework for the reconstruction of Somalia, President Hassan Sheikh has demonstrated great leadership and statesmanship in joining the world’s leading nations in demanding a strong international response in Syria.

So the newly reconstructed airport seems to have no fencing around it which is troublesome because animals can run onto the runway. Also what's the problem with the runway, is it falling apart? I think it will be closed again so the airline can operate again.

Yes, the United Arab Emirates has done a lot to combat the issue of piracy by rogue elements off the coast of Somalia by funding indigenous forces to combat this scourge. I hope the Emirate continues its support amid an all time low in piracy hijackings which has resulted from combat and mediation.

The crimes commited by USC savages who now some members are HAG will never be forgotten and more academic work will come out in the coming years as we combat this new form USC savagery.
No one shall stop books from being released, I wonder what modern USC will do, do they even know how to write?
And if they do, how will they justify their acts? It will be most interesting.I am especially looking forward to the still untitled upcoming limited donkey edition book by Qawdhan Iljeex, a rare mix breed.

EXTENT OF CONTRACT
The works include construction of;
1. 2650m long by 45.0m wide runway including 3No. turn pads (1 at each end and 1 at the middle);
2. 191m long by 18m wide taxiway;
3. 167m long by 106m wide apron around the existing pads;
4. 250mm of natural gravel on widened and extended sections;
5. 230mm lean concrete as base course for the runway and taxiway;
6. 70mm of Marshall Asphalt binder course for the runway and taxiway;
7. 50mm Marshall Asphaltic Surface course for the runway and taxiway;
8. 340mm granular base for apron;
9. 260mm rigid pavement for apron;
10. 7.5m wide gravel shoulders on each side runway (600mm in thickness);
11. 3.5m wide gravel shoulder on each side of the taxiway (600mm in thickness);
12. A total of 330m long by 90m wide Runway End Safety Areas (600mm in thickness), and;
13. Runway, taxiway and apron surface makings and signs.
Others include;
14. Construction of 1No. new 2.0mx1.0mx150m box concrete box culvert;
15. Construction of a chain link perimeter fence of length totaling about 9,100m;
16. 2No. security gates;
17. Rehabilitation and extension of a cut-off drain along the upper side of the runway, and;
18. Stone pitching in selected areas.
