It is a lot of sand to remove. This would need tons and tons of sand to be removed by special trucks designed to suck the sand.

Saffz, what is the Somali population in Addis? Is it big? I would be nice if you could tells us some of the intriguing things you find there. I've never been to Addis, but I heard all adults there take a piss on the roads. Could be Somali propaganda.

Has the good academic Mr. A/Weli done anything tangible for Puntland since he came to office? I am afraid not. It is too early to judge A/Weli on few months tenure, but if his adminstration keeps this turtle pace, the people who elected him will lose patience and boot him out prematurely. I am cheering for the guy. He needs to act and he needs to act fast!!!!

Smartlander, as much as I like Somaliland for personal reasons, the demands you listed are not acceptable to the rest of Somalia. They are not based on a realistic path forward. If the rest of Somalia temporarily accept that kind of distribution, the country will break up again with the rest of Somalia demanding a break from the union. It is a recipe for disaster.

It is a possibility that Galaydh orchestrated the chase to wash off the rumor that he secretly works with Somaliland.
Siilaanyo would not be that callous to embarrass Galaydh who is sympathetic to Somaliland cause more than any other leader in the Khaatumo circle.

You are missing the point. It is recommended to say nice things about your rebellious host. What were the odeyaals supposed to say? We totally reject Somaliland? How would that foster any understanding?
