winger, u have just done arsenal a favour by winding them up, a wounded lion is more dangerous than a healthy one, this will not effect them at all, wait and see! RVN kicks viara then makes a meal about vieras kick, the ref was just ****** and the game was boring, both team scared to attack too much cos its still early in the season. Lauren grabbing Phil Neville's throat was funny tho, lol, africaaan!

Baghdad blast At least one person, a Somali security guard, was killed and two others wounded in the bomb blast at Baghdad's Aike Hotel earlier on Thursday. Iraqi police said the bomb, which is reported to have gone off at about 0700 local time (0300 GMT), had been placed in a hut that housed the hotel generator. It is the first time Western media in Iraq has been specifically targeted since the war to overthrow Saddam Hussein. The blast follows an explosion on Wednesday at a cinema in the northern Iraqi city of Mosul, which killed two people and injured up to 20 others. Canadian soundman David Moodie, who was one of about a dozen NBC staff inside the building at the time, was hurt by flying glass. ""I was awake," he said. "A chest of drawers in the room fell on me. I sleep in the room immediately above the generator, so I guess I was lucky." Allah ha-u naxaristo! Ameen

A northern Nigerian woman sentenced to death by stoning for committing adultery has won her appeal against the verdict on a majority decision. Four out of five judges rejected her conviction, saying she was not given "ample opportunity to defend herself". Thirty-one-year-old Amina Lawal was convicted last year in Katsina state. She had been found guilty under the Sharia (Islamic criminal law) which has been introduced into 12 northern states over the last three years. The verdict, which had been expected says the BBC's Anna Borzello in Katsina, was read out to a packed courtroom in the appeal court in the northern town of Katsina. The panel of judges said the decision to acquit Ms Lawal was based on procedural errors at her original trial and the fact that her adultery was not proved beyond doubt. Ms Lawal sat throughout the verdict in the corner of the courtroom, her face hidden by a shawl and her child on her lap. A village woman, she had been convicted of adultery in March last year soon after giving birth to her daughter, Wasila. This was the second time she had appealed against her sentence of death by stoning, with the help of two Nigeria women's rights groups which took up her case. While Thursday's ruling means Ms Lawal can go home a free woman, the issue of Sharia and in particular Sharia punishments like flogging for fornication and amputation for theft has not gone away, our correspondent says. Shortly after the verdict, reports were coming in of a Nigerian man being sentenced to death by stoning for sodomy after he allegedly slept with three boys in the northern Bauchi state. The introduction of Sharia punishment has been highly controversial, provoking international concern abroad and sparking religious violence within Nigeria. I dont know much about the ins and outs of this case, nor do i know much about Sheria Law apart from the fundamentals of it ie islamic framework. The question i wud like to ask is how can we allow international govnts to even interfere with the in which an islamic state governs its self? In lands which accept all sorts of non-islamic and immoral practices, we dont hear any Islamic states condemning these practices so why do we allow them to?

Paltalk "The regime of Saddam Hussein cultivated ties to terror while it built weapons of mass destruction. It used those weapons in acts of mass murder, and refused to account for them when confronted by the world." Are u still hopefull of finding WMD which was sold to Iraq by the US in the 1st place believing that Saddam would use these against the more serious threat of a Russian backed Iran in the 1980s. An interim repost to be published soon advocates that no WMD have been found in Iraq. "I don't know if you would be able to recall joyfull Iraqi that were showed through internation broad casts when the American tanks entered Baghdad and demolished the Statue of the dictator." That was staged, other pictures, not the ITN pictures you saw, prove that this was the case. A few hundred ppl jumping for joy after recieving $$$$, they won that propaganda war for sure. Liberated???? Could you please give me yr defintion of liberated. Millions without water, electricity, a job, no income, no security, if thats what is ment by you as liberated then it just shows yr niavity in relation to this topic. You dont know what yr talking about, you mumble out the same retric given out by the mass media with disregard to the opposite point of view. This just again shows me yr weakness to form sound judgements based on alternative views. Give me a break and convay somthing new to my ears.

That a good wake up call Nur, thank you for sharing and then persuing our response. I think Shujul put it correctly, this is the 1st time i have come across this thread. "5. As one continues in running, one begins to get some benefits like good feeling, alert mind, sound body and reduced stress. 6. Being patient in Reading Quraan, one begins to understand some verses, gradually improve his iimaan, reduce spiritual stress, begin to make right judgment based on Quraan." That is a very good point indeed and one that is in due process from a personal point of view, the distractions have been reduced, ia they will be nulified soon. Ameen!

Driving back up from london on the motorway this afternoon, i tuned into Radio 5 Live, as u do, just in time for G Bush's speach to the UN with regard to the war in Iraq. I have not heard sooo much BS b4 in my life. He used the same old obvious terms to aid his attempt in justifying the war, even though the country is in total anarchy, the infrastruture being a mess, no security and US soldier deaths daily(see how we do not hear any nws of Iraqi killings, but as soon as an American get killed its all over the news). Words such as freedom, democracy,fair,terror/ism were all too often used by Dubya. Listening to the replys by listerners, it was obvious that the majority of them did not believe a word he said unlike some who are totally blind-folded in believing him^^^^^^^. Those who allow themselves to be led astray are not better than a flock of sheep with Stevie Wonder as the shephard. Peace Out
