  1. Anyone with a Man Utd, Arsenal or Chelsea shirt at tonight's five a side game better watch out. The Vinny Jones in me will be coming out. Not the Gazza job but the two footed stuff. You have been warned!!
  2. Kashka, when an opportunity (Sheikh Sharif becoming President) arises and there is a chance Somalia can turn a new page, one has NO OPTION but to support it. No man is perfect just like no entity is perfect just like no road is smooth especially the road towards peace in Somalia. The sooner you realise this the better. What do you propose? What should happen? Who should be in charge? How will Somalia attain peace? You need a reality check saxib.
  3. AA is a one trick pony. If he wants to involve himself in commenting on today's political landscape and the individuals therein, it is incumbent on him to deliver something other than a repetitive and somewhat tedious line highlighting what is already quite obvious to most. At the moment it’s like hearing the same jokes from the same comedian at every opportunity afforded to him.
  4. Originally posted by AYOUB: ^^ One does not have to find it funny. North said the cartoon did not carry "any messege" and was "meaningless". Not true. At home, Sh. Sharif and his guests are not allowed the luxurious reception he received in Turkey. That's why he was in Turkey after all, is it not? The message is one known to all Ayoubow. He depicts nothing new. We all know the president is not safe in Somalia. Some will find the piece funny and others will find it tasteless. What I'm questioning in Amin's sense of purpose. What does he think he is here for? To merely take the piss at every given opportunity? Thats easy.
  5. He has said what needed to be said and the US and Israel can't use the same platform to counter. He has won this little battle.
  6. Because some of the Londoners are on holiday somewhere.
  7. Cara, I'm not saying he is not needed but he needs to up his game from these predictable and most of all meaningless pieces.

    NBA 2009

What is the schedule of games? Whos got who?
  9. Kobe is a great player no doubt but no one like a big ego. King James came onto the scene and the Cavs got to the final for the first time. King James!
  10. BTW the said cartoon could be read as anything but being spot on. It's not political satire, it's pure the addiction to the echoing applause of an agreeable audience, sprinkled with an attentive delirium bordering on immaturity. Nothing else to it. Let AA start his caricatures from even some (One tenth of a half) truth, which will put him a topical border of some sort, but he isn't! He's stray-shooting at non-existing kibilaay! And that takes the joke away from him (the artist) and unto him (the uncouth), like injir tiyaar taaganoo lagu istaagey. Well said. Cara, AA is struggling with a sense of purpose at the moment. His cartoons are getting tedious by the day (or at least those I see posted on here).
  11. I don't go to his website that much but you would expect that after the Ethios left and a man widely supported comes to power he would start painting a rosier picture, with few black roses in the frame yes but a rosier picture.
  12. Like what? All he does is highlight the obvious with a little Somali humour thrown in. Take this cartoon for example, why does he not use more of a positive message? He just wants to show negative things.
  13. My opinion of AA has changed. The man doesn't seem to have a message any more. Its become a little tedious of late.

    The F.A Cup

Wenger is preparing for Anfield. Prepare well son, prepare well,,,,,,,,,
  15. ^The Guurti decision has been discussed. This thread is about the police raid on Kulmiye's headquarters saxib. Try to differentiate. Leave out the juvenile stuff FOR ONCE! ps is what I said wrong?
  16. Now answer the question, if there is democracy why are party buildings being raided, elders arrested and people getting bullied by Riyaale? The answer is obvious is it not? Delaying the elections and buying time has become Udub's idea of democracy. Coupled with intimidation of Kulmiye. Kulmiye and the general public must be commended for not letting the govn't instigation of unrest get to them. The people of SL see through these latest antics by Riyaale who is looking for conflict.
  17. Arsenal will beat Man Utd. Sorry Winger on this one. Chelsea vs Barca is tough to call.
  18. I just realized anaad tahay ninkii la odhan jiray A&T. Malouda played well no doubt about it and I’m prepared to take my criticism of him back but only after he plays well regularly for 3 or 4 years in the Prem, CL and at International level. Not sure how came to the conclusion about artistry vs efficiency but Lennon is an over-rated little Yorkshire lad.
  19. LoL Not sure if I believe some of the things in the article. Snake takes man up a tree? Police officer actually said they want to arrrest the escaped snake? The BBC is known for sprinkling a little milix on Africa stories.
  20. Fell asleep at half time, woke up and the games were finished.
  21. Anyway, some of the ships being taken hostage include humanitarian aid ships paid for by taxpayer money. And there's a distinct difference between "violation of property rights" vs. taking people hostage and demanding ransom for their safe return. Imagine waiting for your neighbor to leave for work, breaking into their house and stealing their flat-screen TV. Sounds bad? Compare that to waiting for your neighbor's kindergartner to get off the school bus, kidnapping her, and demanding money in return for her safety. I can chalk up the first to common criminality but the second is miles beyond "a violation of property rights". Let's not confuse sympathy with justice or good sense. ^Very well put.
  22. ^LoL Winger, I Rio is back for tonight. Should be good. I just Hope Arsenal make it through. They are my CL team on condition they beat Man Utd in a few weeks.
  23. This is whats on the mind of Liverpool fans today. I was but a 10 year old playing football just down the road when police, fire and ambulances were everywhere. Tragic day.
