Probably agree. What the west has done effectively is latch onto and play up the threat Iran poses to the Gulf Arabs. This has resulted in major investment in arms and military exercises in readiness. The problem wont be the conventional war as Iran will be neutralised in no time. Ngonge, The fault is with the 'oh heshe goes to malcaamad and memorises the quran so will be ok' mentality we all have. The lack of understanding kids have is due to parents more than their malcaamad teachers. We have a relaxed approach towards it and see it as a bonus to mainstream education. The educators and parents are both to blame but they have probably known nothing else. Todays new generation of parents should be more proactive and ensure there is understanding along with memorising a suura.

^Everything you said there makes sense saxib but none of it detracts from there being a lack of a proper Islamic education through infant and secondary school ages. The questions on suicide bombings women’s issues etc can be tackled early on. If one understands why at a young age then he/she will ‘probably’ not be ‘as’ influenced by the xaraam brigade and the media in their adolescent/adult years. All I’m saying is that a properly structured and sincere Islamic education will set him/her in good stead. I doubt this new trend will continue or that there would be as much confusion and disillusionment (relatively) if that happens. What do you propose?
