  7. Yami yami sound delicious.. I can’t cook unless the food comes in a nice cardboard box, with clear instructions (e.g. pre-heat the oven to CZT; leave in for 5 mins etc). Wait wait guys I am not so bad I can cook delicious pizza, Swedish meatballs and also some chocolate cakes such as Brownies Scandinavian mmm love it. But i cannot make real somali food.I really miss my sisters awesome food, one of my favorite is her home-made spaghetti sauce and Somali rice chicken. Nomads I need more simple recipes please. I will try Rudy’s one today… . I need to figure out what I'm going to eat tomorrow …
  8. Ismahan when i read all the post i couldnt help but notice your honesty. You are like this fella who qalanjo is dating. Honesty has no place in this world. So ismahan you should take some much needed classes from Rudy. You will be amazed at his depth of knowledge espeacially about faraxs and xalimos. SKIPPER lols bro, iga daa rudy maba ii dirtey wah, maxuu soo wadaa lie lie muu i dhihi rabaa ?? Horta why why people lie on the first place ??why lie? and what is lie ? Horta let us clarify "lie". Basically a lie is a false statement deliberately presented as being true (could be big or small doesn’t matter). 2 types of lies are well-known the white lies, which do little or no harm, and the black lies, which can do detriment to the deceiver and to the recipient. So the question is why people lie about serious things?? Like wiil baa bananka kugu arkaya waan ku jeceylahay abaa, habeenkii adi kugu riyoodaa, bas bas indhaha la iga shubaan bala bala bala www.farax.com . Gabar baa 3 sano will la socoto waxaa dhici karto only in aay interest ula socoto and then she will tell him back “babe I love you 2”. Occasionally most people lie about things but they don’t do it unless they see it is necessary but some people have practically a satanic-level skill of lying. Also there are many factors that play an important role behind lying such as biology factors as well as the environmental factors .Hypothetically I believe those who come from chaotic and dysfunction families have a greater tendency to lie than those who grew up in a caring household. In my opinion, we should not lie about anything, we are Muslim and we know honest is the best policy. An absolute honesty is as absurd an abstraction as an absolute temperature or an absolute value as William Bernard said. However some times absolute honesty can lead to trouble, risking causing offense to others who may not want or need to hear the complete truth. So be careful. Whatever the case, we should always be honest to ourselves and to others.
  9. Today I was more productive than usual; first, I woke up 2 hours before I had to reach the practical at 8:30 am so I woke up 6:30 am. Secondly, I realized I had to walk faster than usual because it takes at least 10 mins to walk to school from the buss stop ooh man I hate the 10 mins walking, especially when I have lab Third, I increased my speed even more because it came to my mind that I have to pass through many corridors, changing cloths, entering PIN codes after swiping the access pas along way just to reach the ****** lab . Fourth, I ended up finishing my experiment earlier than any one else in there accept one genius guy on our class, ooh yeah he is genius but weirdoooo . Fifth, the moral of the story is, when you're running late, slow down your pace. Anyways guys today w really a tiring day, having to spend the whole 8:30 am - 5:00 pm in the lab…

  11. I hope she married the guy, jaceeylku dhabta wuxuu imaadaa after marriage (by living with the person) Dating someone and saying "Abaay waan ku jeclahay, maya anaa kaa daran, masoconeeyso." do you really think in qofku iska jeceylaanayo qof uusan ka helin for the first place ...?/ I don.t think so in aay jeceylaanayso if there is no ka helitaan or chemical attraction which is a special quality in a person that inspires fascination in others. thus without attraction noo jeceyl peace out folks
  12. LIBaax ST excellent comment bro, very well said indeed
  13. Qalanjo sis honesty, you shouldn’t marry to someone if you are not in love. Don't waste your life and energy on someone you don't love, It is not worth it. Plus it’s not fair to him to promise to love and cherish him for the rest of your lives when you know you won’t. It’s not fair to yourself either to marry someone you are not really in love with. Sis find someone you love that is everything you want and don't settle for anything less. Some people may tell you things like there are people who gotten married and eventually develop love for each other bala bala but can you take the risk>? Ask your self sis?? Anyways it sounds to me like you’ve got a great friendship. Keep it that way I will suggest. Remember “happy marriages begin when we marry the ones we love, and they blossom when we love the ones we marry.” I wish you all the best with big smile

  21. I'd be for it Ismahaan, but not really sure if demand is high, so why not just start by opening a topic in this forum and we'll just take it from there. Very interesting indeed but my question would it be okay to discuss science topics in this section? If it is then why not let us having some fun cuz science is fun. Give some ideas for what you want to present or see presented, any questions u have and discussions you think are essential. Some topics we can discuss include Microbiology (bacteriology, fungi, Virology, yeast), Biochemistry (enzymes, genetics, molecular Biology, plant hormones), Medicine& health (allergy, Dermatology, diseases, nutrition), chemistry (environmental, Pollution, food science etc), Biology (Botany, Human anatomy, Zoology, Psychology, human ) etc.

    C'mon!!!

Ladies and Gentlemen: First of all I must say I feel that every one is entitled to their own point of view but I feel that forcing children to learn foreigner language is a total waste of time and effort. I feel that is extremely important for children to learn their own language first so in the future they can educate their own children and others in this world in the future. I am saying this because cultural identity has been described in sociology as being based on self-definition and giving a sense of belonging thus without your culture and language, to me you have no identity. I was studying foreigner languages since primary school still I can write and speak Somali allhamdulilah even though I don't get to use it much. Also I do admire parents that encourage their children to interact in their native language. I am saying this because I saw so many Somali youth saying they can’t speak or write Somali shame shame . This is because some Somali parents refuse to teach their kids their own language, out of a desire to have the child integrate with other children  . But then the kids may grow up feeling they have lost a part of their heritage, which s a pity and a waste, to me. I do agree however with some of your comments above, Somali people ma bartaan luqada wadanka aay joogaan intooda badan I don,t know the reason why laakiin waxaay ila tahay waa lazy nimo lols. The truth is, I think most people can pick up another language in a year. . However, I don't believe that there is any royal way of picking up foreign languages. It's an effort, an intentional and deliberate effort on the part of the learners, and motivation is most important of all
