  1. Mojam,

I hear you my friend but at the moment I only got Inter Milan and Arsenal Jersey's simply because Inter Milan's jersey is absolutely easy for the eyes but too bad you can't say that about the team at the moment, as they are known "Draw Specialists".

    Northener,

Are you sure your judgement isn't a bias one since there is no Liverpool player worth mentioning?

How many Liverpool jersey's have you got or you already threw all of them away since the team wont be out of position if you took them down to the championship. ;);) .

    Peace, Love & Unity.

  2. This goes out to a young boy by the name of Rafeek, a Non-Somali but Muslim and a good kid.

Rafeek was seven when he lived

    with his mother and father

his house was filled with hatred and stress

his mother was a good wife and mother

and his father was a wife beater

the nights when his Dad would

show up late would be the nights

    that Rafeek would never forget

seeing his father hand come across

his mother's face faster and harder

then a heavy weight boxer can throw a punch

as he would watch his mother fall

to the ground coughing up in tears

he could only watch as he could hear

and tear the sounds of his mother pleading

but the only thing he could do was shed

a tear for his mother's eye

the following day while his mother was

fixing dinner with her swollen eyes

his father arrived home from work yelling

    and demanding for a dinner

but before he could finish his phrase

a shot was heard as his father

laid on the ground coughing for life

but as the smoke cleared and his father gone

he could see his mother shocked at what she did

she shed a tear not of sadness but hope for,

she shed a tear of her beloved child Rafeek.

  3. Wewe Raula 'The Rift Valley Bomber' usi mambiye mtu ingine sawa smile.gif , kweli mungu atu saidiye sisi wote amaje  .

    MissWord,

i didn't know you were in Love because you didn't tell me that when we last met at Raula's engagement party and dare i say you were ALONE and seemed happy :D:D .

I watched the whole gala live last night and it was wonderful to see my main Man Titi accept defeat with Grace. I liked the theme "Where Football Meets Opera" cheeky huh!

I am sure Ian Wright would have loved to see Henry walk away with it.

Mojam I am not sure about the "Ronaldinho Deserved" part as he didn't win any silverware last season and if you are talking about goals and tricks Henry can perform just as much tricks and about goals he scored and created loads of them and so did Shevchenko but I am afraid Henry may never win that bloody thing as I believe he will never ever have a better season as a player than the last two season which unfortunately didn't get him nowhere.

I can only imagine how disgusted he feels to come so close and yet so far because let me tell you, there's no worse feeling than coming second but like he said "to be recognized twice in a row is an achievement itself ".

Well, the Goofy Genius may have walked away with the ultimate price but in my eyes there is one player that gets my vote and his jersey number is 14 and he plays for ARSENAL, the greatest club in English football history.

  5. Number 4 has already been taken I am afraid my friend, would you like to wear # 44 so that you can double the effort of what your favourite number is expected of! How is that?

P.S you would do all of us a favour including our opponents by losing that Viatcom hat:D :D .

  6. I let the smell of the sea open my soul

as I feel love like water on the shores

I'm confident that I'll find happiness

justice of love to escape my sadness

I rain on thoughts like rain on dry lands

if only I had the world in both my hands

I'm confident that I'll find a new life

with the dove of love my new wife

poetry opens me to level of satisfaction

that can't be explained in physical action

emotionally falling into a hole,a hole of love

    i see her,and think..

is this what life is made of?

I'm confident that I'll find true respect

by the words i lay and never reject

    the same emotions I inject

into my so called veins in which are filled

with blood that's pure Somali blood

heart being controlled by a Malaika

and i never thought it would...

i never imagined i would be falling

madly in love with you my Angel

but it's good and i am glad that i did

    because i'm confident..

    that we'll always be together.

    Peace, Love & Unity.

  8. Hasna & Sofine, I am Glad to hear that you liked it and hopefully it will motivate you just as much as it did motivate me and the rest of my friends as that is my main mission ( to motivate you all) and the reason why I decided to share this story with the rest of you guys.

    Peace, Love & Unity.

  9. Wa Alaikom Salam W.W.

Thanx for your valubale time my Sister, I am glad to hear that you have enjoyed reading all 3 of them.

well, don't worry you will get tired of reading my poems in the coming days, weeks and months Insha Allah,so i hope you are ready ;) .

    Peace, Love & Unity.

  10. Hey Homer, i always wanted to say that to you :D .

Brother man, once again I disagree with you because I don't know where this "he doesn't rise to the occasion" talk coming from because the only match winner Arsenal has is Henry and if he wasn't doing his job we wouldn't be talking about Arsenal now, would we?

Zidane won the world cup for France? Oh please, yes I agree with you but only if you are talking about the final match where his two goals were the difference but if you mean the whole tournament then I am sorry, i don't agree! because there were matches where he was completely missing and don't forget he was red carded against Saudis so where was he when the team played against Paraguay and Croatia? Don't get me wrong, Zidane is a great player, the best of his generation but even a great player like him has his own bad games where he wishes to be some where else, for example the game at Euro2000 final against Italy, what has he done? He was no where to be seen but can you really judge a player on a few matches that he was out of sorts?

If you are blaming Henry just because he didn't win the Champs league for the Gunners then I think you should blame the rest of the team as well as football is a team sport where 11 players form a team, Zidane was at Juve, has he ever won it for the Old Lady? Shevchenko took the final kick of the penalties that won the cup for the Rosaneri but can you really argue that he won the cup for his team?

Henry, destroyed Inter Milan almost single handedly but I guess that wasn't a big game in your eyes right?

Brother man, let's talk about facts here and not what a bias journalist wrote about him because the more I read your comments the more you sound like a magazine that I read somewhere, GIVE CREDIT WHERE IT'S DUE my Brother.

    Peace, Love & Unity.

  11. Earl "The Goat" Manigault is the greatest hoop player ever and he will lead his team to a championship once again, do you want to bet?

    The Goat Baby. ;)

    Peace, Love & Unity.

  12. Ok Northerner, I guess I will have to stick to Coaching then huh? Well, my philosophy of the game is simple so is my tactic, Attack Attack and more Attack, my favorite formation is 4-3-1-2 where we will have one player (the play maker) just behind the front two and when we lose the ball we will switch to 5-3-2 where the defensive midfielder will be another central defender while the play maker will play as a holding midfielder.

    Orgilaqe,

As long as you don't earn yourself an unnecessary expulsion and put the team into an awkward situation then I guess getting up close and personal with the opposition wont hurt, we will train at "Women Section" because we need all the support we can get and what better support to have than the support of the Ladies because as you know Girls are naturally good screamers and we need that to feel invisible.

    Miss Ibrahimovic,

You can talk the talk all right but I wonder can you walk the walk? Sorry, you have to settle with Orgilaqe, Ngonge, Northerner, Quantum Leap and yours truly and the rest of the team instead of Del Piero & Ibrahomivic Ok? but would you mind doing the shaving at home because we don't want you distracting the boys and the girls with your shaving, Pronto?

Oooh, one more thing, forget about dribbling all over the place, we are going to play a simple "Give & Go" style of football where the ball will do all the running and movement for you and not the other way around but you are more than free to express yourself when the opportunity arises.

    QL,

Be a team player because we want to win as a team and win again as a team, losing isn't in my vocabulary and no team of mine will ever and can ever lose to anybody, so go out there and show them what you are made of.

    Peace, Love & Unity.

  13. As I joined in the Asar prayer I got a new vision for my life, I gave up all my addictions...the drugs, the women and stealing and surrendered my life to almighty Allah (S.W) and from there my life finally began to come together and I learned how to use my faith in the right way, at that time I was working as a security guard and I managed to become one of the best in that company, I went to courses and seminars just to learn how to open my own business and all praise be to Allah today my life has changed for the better.

Today I have my own security company with 150 employees and my company serves most major companies in my city, I also have a security training unit and both businesses are doing very well Alhamdulillaah before I decided to surrender to the almighty Lord, the all knowing and the all seeing Allah (S.W) I used to believe that just because I wasn't educated, I will never ever have a better life, but at the Mosque I was taught to use my faith in Allah and that alone was sufficient to make miracles happen.

I am happily married to my soul mate today, the one that I have always prayed for and because of her I am at peace with myself today and i always look forward to going home to her and to our three lovely children.

People say I am lucky, Well, I agree but what they don't know is that we are all lucky because we beat out 1,000,000 (Million) other sperms just to get here for a start but what we choose to do with our lives is what makes us winners and losers and the difference between Men and Boys is the lessons they learn in life.

    ----------------------The End---------------------

Well, I know you are asking yourself what is the moral of the story and why I wasted my energy to post one lucky dude's story, right? Well, it's simple really, I wanted to play the role of your motivator for a day, because let's be honest, we all have dreams and ambitions to fulfil and there will be time when the going will certainly get tough so remember "Never Give Up" because if Yasin of all people could make it so can me and you, he once said to me "As long as you have ambition and you can dream, you are alright but the day you stop dreaming and being ambitious individual is the day you should worry because remember everything begins with a dream just like the journey of thousand miles begins with one single step, however the effort and the guts to make those dreams come to reality is the small margin between being a Winner and a Loser.

    Peace, Love & Unity.

  14. This is the true story of *Yasin, the man who everybody that knew him thought he wont live to see his 20th birthday but today he is risen above all that and not only did he make it past his 20th birthday but he is a good husband to his beloved wife and a great father to their 3 lovely kids.

Ladies and Gentlemen this is his story with his own words:

"I grew up in a poor family, my father was working but the money was so little that he couldn't support us, so when I turned 14, I joined in with some older friends and together we would steal anything that we could find and then buy cigarettes and Miraa (Jaad) and some of the older boys started to smoke (Manyasi) and drink alcohol and soon we graduated to burglary where we would steal from TV and VCR to washing machines all the way down to Spoons and Forks just to get by and satisfy our growing addiction which this time included chasing around girls and breaking their innocent hearts, I was still at school because one of the guys advised me not to drop out of school incase things went horribly wrong and i got caught then my family could argue that I was a student and might even walk free or get a minor sentence.

When I finished matric, I wanted to further my studies and become some one in life but unfortunately there were not enough funds to do it, I borrowed some money and enrolled for a security course, I started working but I could never have a permanent job, my desperation got to the point where I began to steal from the companies that hired me.

but not even that solved my problem , I was always unemployed and had a lot of debts searching for better opportunities , I travelled to all the major cities in the country and wherever else people said was good. I just wanted to succeed and take care of my ailing parents now, my father became a bed ridden and Mom, well, what could the poor old lady do?

Even in those places they said were good couldn’t ease my frustrations and anger, everything just went completely wrong in my life, I ended up thinking that I was born to suffer and my addictions were not helping my situations, I started to smoke two packs per day and chew the whole night and make a plan for the things that I would do first thing in the morning, I still went with my friends whenever I could and took part some missions.

One day I saw one of my school mates who was doing really well in life, so I asked what he had done and he told me about Allah, on the same day I decided to go to the Mosque and start praying and when I arrived at the Mosque I immediately felt a difference in my life, I received a hope for a better tomorrow.===========>

    Peace, Love & Unity.

  15. If we were to form our own footie team here in SOL how many of us would really make the cut girls included?

I know most of us are Couch Chips or Potatoes but how many of us are genuine footballers and I am not talking about those who can only play it from the couch with PS but where it's supposed to be played, ON THE PITCH?

Let's have a little fantasy and see if we can form our team and if we can get just 11 players to start with will be marvelous, as I know we are the minority when it comes to the beautiful game fans.

Now, who would be a goalie, a right back, a left back, a stopper, a libero, a defensive midfielder, a right winger, a left winger (it's a must to be a left footed), a play maker (#8), strikers (9 and 10)?

Somalis, don't be selfish now, let's make this as real as it can get and if you are good between the posts says so and don’t lie and say I am a striker besides you will be exposed at the training where we will embarrass you..

Girls, you can join the team but remember you are going to share the same dressing room and showers so if you can't be a team player then sorry..

Guys, keep your eyes firmly on the ball now will you? ;);) .

    Peace, Love & Unity.

  17. Change is far overdue it's time

we help our Brothers and Sisters stand

it's time we encourage each other to fly

instead of forcing them to crash land

we oppress ourselves far more than anyone else can

we are doing the work for the Devil

it's time to stop and lend a hand

I'm tired of seeing all the hate and pain spread so quickly

everywhere I go storm clouds be following me

haterz act cool one day and the next they swinging to hit me

I thought we was cool forget you now

to me you're just an ancient history

I preach love and tolerance amongst us

Why do you have to preach hatred and death MY BROTHERS & SISTERS?

    Peace, Love & Unity.

  18. We got too many struggles to deal with

too many obstacles always trying to maintain

enough to break your spirit to make you go insane

all the struggles we endure is just inhumane

while most of us are speeding

straight down to the wrong lane

why are we forever trying to destroy our own kind

is it because we hate to see our own kind with our own face

or because we got these "Gangstas" running around LOOSE?

always wishing death on each otherr

    instead of God’s good grace

trying to kill their brothers and always trying to start some conflict over nothing

making all the wrong choices don't even consider the right one

they want to have friends, but they don't get none

all they always see is their "Best friend" pointing a gun

his last thought was lost in confusion and pain

ends in a quick death took a shot to the brain

another Somali brother's soul that was taken in vain

ashes to dust another life washed away in the rain

taking us all down with him to the drain.

Somali Man, Stop Killing Your Own For Allah's Sake.

    Peace, Love & Unity.

  19. We've kids that we call the lost generation.

full of bad manners and sinful temptation.

    forgetting there's no replacement.

for all the innocent lives that has been taken.

    I'm tired of being patient,

    I'm too tired of waiting,

waiting for my Somali nation to become amazing.

but what hurts is,there will be

    no amazing transformation.

because we r waiting for a super power invasion.

    we believe we can't re-build

    our own lost civilisation.

why is this world full of lies

    yet too little information.

I don't really see any kind

    of great-civilised nation.

we live where there will always be criminal faces.

even more ppl with unusual cruel imaginations.

It's like we live life too cold,

    in need of quick injection.

    i know a cold life isn't a life

    I'd like to stay in.

as you know, before, this world was full of discrimination.

from enslaving to putting Natives in reserved locations.

these races get hated due to the colour

    of what their face is.

the only explanation, is that their heart is full of hatred.

why discrimination??? We r all the same race, the human race.

maybe we hate all because we differ in opinions and statements.

but we don't only suffer of hatred, what about low pay wages.

there are families with no food to eat.

for months waiting and hoping for a hot meal.

there are more that got it worse.

so you don't even know what pain is.

    you try sleeping outside.

with no blanket on the cold pavement.

people in all ages live life all in different paces.

but only a few ever get a chance

to taste the life of greatness.

May The Almighty Allah Bless My Beloved Somalia and Somali People.

    Peace, Love & Unity.

  20. I am a die-hard fan of Autobiographies but I am currently reading "Secrecy and Power" by Richard Gid Powers, I don't like reading Novels as they bore me after only a handful of pages.

    Peace, Love & Unity.

  21. Guys take it easy and let's not catch the He Said and She Said syndrome now alright, we are all adults and there's no need to stoop to that level where we go back and forth over something that's completely nothing.

Sister GNP, Forgive and Forget Please and Raula would follow suit.

    Peace, Love & Unity.

  22. I am neither Michel Nostradamus nor Hassan Khomishov but I knew you would be the first one to reply which means you have won two tickets to SOMALIWOOD for a whole week, but I wonder who are you going to take with you because remember there are no pets allowed inside SOMALIWOOD.

Thanks for your valuable time Miss Barwaaqo, I appreciate it.

    Peace, Love & Unity.
