Haaji Ngonge, You advocate social investment in the spread of awareness within the muslim community but I am afraid that this terorist will disdain this call as a platitude that is flat and dull.I agree with you Saaxib that the war launched by this terorist is frightening.These are people who are ready to die for a cause.Their actions eliminates the traditional opposition force that has always guranteed civil security.I doubt(i could be wrong here) if Muslims disaproval of their action's will deter them from their actions.Rememeber these people gain powerful gratification from their ascetical pride.You mentioned the Rushdie affairs.Yes Muslims were more vocal at his actions then.People even died in places like Pakistan because of his action.Do i think that many people will disaprove Osmaa's action like they did with Rushdie affair?-I don't think so!.Osama is like a bearer of message of "salvation" to many.They do agree with him wether in public or not.Hopefully with Allah's help a day will come when muslims will separate politics from the religion.

Words seems to have power.The power is magic.This power controls our behavior.Some words are vulgar and profane in nature.Some word causes blushes while other words causes situations.The situation may be humorous.At times word becames causes.Men die for a cause.Still other words are tender and help people.Some people say religious words to look morally straight people. Some words binds people.The binding is solemn and together.The binding is in marriage.While sometimes words separate people through divorce.Many times words create tension and result in conflicts.This morning i am confused and in Dilemma(Seven,am not copying you
).Isn't dilemma itself a problem?.A problem with no true solution.What shall i do? i am confused.Should always be nice to people? do i have to say hello on every soul i brush shoulders with?But i am happy this morning after i purchased my season football ticket(not soccer,you dummy Brits).

Ngonge,I did admired your boundless illimitless energy on this topic.Haaji, you must have seen a cow contentedly munching its cud.Nothing seem capable of disturbing this animal-and the animal seem to want nothing more of life than to lead a simple vegetable life.Some people are like that-calm, patient and placid.There are other people who don't want this passive life, they want to try hard cud like meat.Haaji Ngonge, as you know Islam is a complex family with one billion worshipers.Each worshiper has a different taste .Islam is not only diverse in extent, it is also diverse in beleif and customs (I am not going to touch on the interpretation escapegoat that you don't like).When you state that imams and mosques should stop these angrier crowd?-which imams and mosques are you refering to(the salafi brothers?, the moderates?).I suspect you go to the mosque everyday, doesn't your Imam talk and disaprove these terorist acts?-atleast my Imam does it whenever the topic comes up!.
The realist amongst us know that terorist attacks that exist today are carried out by muslim brothers and sisters.Do some people sympathise with their action? yes some do.When you ask them why they suport such hideous acts they will give you the "cause and effect" argument you mentioned.Yes American occupation of Iraq and Israeli occuaption of Palestinian land are wicked just us these terorist actions are.But what is the solution to these terorist problems?-i did ask you(not directly) this question a while back, you never answered!.Should Islam promote international network for liberal and moderate muslim?,should Islam foster reform in schools(madrasasa) or should all the Imams be forced to submit their Khutba outlines for verification that it doesn't contain anger?.How will one billion people of different nationalities be reached?.I did understand your cogent argument saaxib but it looks like the more i read your arguments the less i found solutions in it.

First lets not jump on to conclusion and label them racist and bigots who target our community.This case depends on whether police in London have the power to searches and seizures without warrant.If they do have discretionally legal power to searches,then i think they had the right to search the family.Even though they could be held liable for shoving the old lady!.In America the police have no right to search or seizure your property without any warrant from the judge.Lets not forget that the police will always be suspicious of us because of the recent terorist connection.

Xiin,i agree with your cogent argument there saxiib.Children are sucked in to this seemingly endless endemic struggle for power.This is why outbreak of nutritional disorder is being witnessed in Somalia.I do agree with you that moral and healthy family development,following the devine code, is essential for all of us.My argument was based on the little interaction i had with my people.Their atitude toward procreation did not align with my stance.Perhaps my argument does not apply to the current Somali situation(back home).

Xiin, I don't understand where lack of political stability plays a role here. In Somalia pressure to have children stems from traditional pressure, familial pressure, and religious pressure.The traditional pressure is based on long held tradition of having many children.These parents beleive that their children will be able to take care of them once they became old.The familial pressure is usually stired up by the notion that the more boys you have the wealthier and happier you are !.The religious pressure is one that is usually misused by many people.Many people will give the excuse that god will take care of the children regardless of the economic situations.To put it simple, there is a problem of reproduction in Somalia(i understand there is a war).The solution to this problem will be difficult one to solve.I understand you beleive once a banana and a piece of plastic is displayed in the naked eyes of these communities they will be prone to ride the tri-cycle more.Do you think that these people will stop having babies just because there is no peace?.They will still reproduce eventhough they can not take care of their own.
