    Sharif was welcomed most of Somalis but did anything to capture momentum. For this difficult time as a Somali president you must be appear nationalistic. He defended the Kenyan deal and did anything when one of his minister publicly announced that he met the secessionist and discussed recognizing each other.

    The security minister called Alshabaab members from other region "foreigners".

     

    All his government effort was to rely support for moqdisho tribes which failed three days. In their side moqdisho factions as usual, saying something and doing different thing. Indhacade could be clear example, his tribe was given four ministers for shariif government and that was not enough.

    Somali is better of without Shariif group. They are most dengarous group ever. Ready to sign anyhting asked for.

     

    Sh.aways is an important leader for islamic movement in somalia. He has been loyal for the movement and supportive for it cause. He is close friend with Xasan turkey and able to unite all different groups.

     

    Sh.shariif is alone, does not have any allied nationaly.

    for last four days fight only few fighters of both side died. it is really civilian who pay the price. it will be no winners for this round, maybe a political win for opposition. real question is will the clan card work?

     

    In Moqdisho you get pay to fight a day, with supervision. end of the day you return the gun and you will be paid.

    Sharif is a good speaker and was very popular for six months, when things got worst he ended up U.S embassy in KENYA. The west and Neighboring countries decided to replace the old man and he was their first choice. Again the Sharif was welcomed by most of somali poeple and we hoped so much for him just dissapointed again.

    For more than 100 days he did anything to reach the somali people whether his supporters or his enemy. he did not visit any other city accept moqdisho. He put his effort to restore peace in moqdisho but failed because many factors including the luck of national strategy.

    Sharif did anyhting to prevent this, as the old man, he is only obeying orders from the people who opionted him and we remember the last day of old man. the arrival of sh.aways complicate things for him and his future is bleak just before given away part of somali sea to Kenya. lot of bad days a head for the sharif, it will be hard to defeat Al shabaab with local connection

    I will not repeat myself.

     

    if Ahmed Diriye is not save in moqdisho, he can not be safe any place else. if a respected elder is not save at his looted home and this is not first time he and his family attacked, than his not respected elder

     

    Now what is going to happen when a respected elder is attacked?

    Modisho society maybe angry losing control of south/west somalia but should be carefull any war against Alshabaab and other groups who created peace in south/west somalia for first time. wether Duke or you dislake them, they are local and they bring local solution.

     

    So far any effort has not made to bring these people on the table. they cannot be ignored.

     

    with the all effort made for peace in moqdisho, does not seems to work and will not work unless moqdisho learn it is mistakes.

    Who will reconcile Hargaysa? This is the question of day? Is it more than Qat talk or Qat demonstration? I mean Hargaysa standard of Fadhi kudirir. If you read Somaliland media, you will see huge increase of accusation and counter accusation and yet business as usual. Could this be constitution crises as some secessionist, put it or the fruit of Hargaysa style democratization

    One pictures many different reflection. Sharif as person appeals most Somalis but the picture not only tells the obvious thing but the reality in the ground and Sharif’s ability. Simply a reality check for another sad story in Somalia, at the time we want to be hopeful. It is not, if the Sharif is able to deliver but is he trying to deliver what is expected from him. The picture tells also the character of the sharif, first he is comfortable riding the Amison armor truck in his home town and than not using clan gun men scoring him as old man did.

    Pirates are indeed problem for everyone, but international community fail to stop. The ignorance of west, they can do everything by themself did not work here. there is nothing more the west can do, it is time , west understand only somalis can solve their problem and only somalis can safeguard and protect somali coast.
