From what I have seen in Ethiopia is that there are some 20-30 minute talks of some historical incidents even conferences and festivities of unrelated gathering. This is done even if there is no agreement in what it means, like menelik, Tedros etc and like the famine of 1974 and a bigger one in 1984. It keeps memory and makes people think as relates to current situation. Young people in Ethiopia are already asking what was the need for Ethnic federalism.
