My most joyfull place in Somalia

Recommended Posts

Carafaat

Liido beach, Muqdisho

I remember as it was yesterday when we used to visit the beach on friday morning.

playing with the sand, swimming in the sea, swallowing the salty water.

It is the most joyfull memory I have.

I did not belong to a clan, have any colour, nor faction.

The water was clear, the sky was blue and the sand was white.

We cant bring back yesterday for sure. But lets plant new seeds for tomorrow.

Carafaat, If you're calling Lido your most joyful place, I wonder what would you call Qandal beach just few km's outside of Kismayo?

PS. I've always loved Berbera, never been there YET but somehow I've always had this imaginary picture of the city in my head and it's beyond breath taking. Mmmm maybe my 3rd wife will be from Berbera.

MMA, maag ogeyn arintaan. laakinse anigu waan yaraa, kolay family each kaliya arkay. waxba kama ogi beaches kale, bal nooga waran naked beaches?

Cambuulo, abaayo ani inaa ciyaal xaafad ahay ma shaki aa ka taagan. adi xafadee eheed abaayo?

Bob, aboow, Berbera is nice, but the temperament of the Idean Ocean cant be comparde to the tranquile RedSea. Indian ocean has character, seen nowhere else, every second and every minute is diffrent.

Laakinse gabar reer Berebra waa lagu siina, laakinse wee gaaban yihiin. waa la qaad qaadi karaa. :D
