Buurdhuubo, one of the two last districts in the region held by Al Shabaab and considered the first defense against Shabaab positions in Baardheere, has been taken. Dagaal ka dhacay Buurdhuubo iyo gacan ku haynteeda oo lala wareegay Sheekh Maxamed Xuseen Isxaaq Al-Qaaddi, oo ah Afhayeenka Alusuna waljameeca ee gobolada Koonfureed ee dalka Soomaaliya, oo warbaahinta la hadlayay ayaa sheegay in ay si buuxda ula wareegeen Buurdhuubo isla markaana ay fariisimo xoogan kala wareegeen Al-shabab, oo ay mudooyinkii u danbeeyay isku hayeen gacan ku haynta gobolka Gedo oo intiisa badan Al-shabab lagala wareegay. http://gedoonline.com/?p=24808

Thats the problem, they must have planned this before, but if I know somalis, they only planned to fight and not to prosper. Gedo needs peace and after peace it needs to prosper so people can go back home and devolop it further. Azania crap I dont buy, just simple because of its a foreign creation I dont trust. Just like the TFG.

I dont know right know what is the right course but i know we need people who are not selfish and that puts the national interest in the forefront. This concept is needed throughout Somalia, and not just in gedo. We need political maturity in Somalia.
Carafaat Posted July 31, 2011 I hope people in the diffrent villages and districts will get space to have their own consulations, so they come to an agreement what they want in their communities, how they wanna achieve those goals. Without Somali's abroad and militia's interfering in this proces, but rather support what ever the outcome is. This is would be the right step to build a system of governance(bottem up, without external and militia's influences).
