Reports reaching the Ogadēn Online service desk confirms the gruesome killings of three women some of whom were either pregnant or have given birth recently by Ethiopian (Woyane) militias in the town of Dhadha. The town is part of the Dhanaan district.

Two of the deceased women have recently given birth and were nursing their new borns when they were extrajudicially killed. The other woman who was also killed was reported to have been in the third trimester of pregnancy. The names of the deceases are:

1. Ruqiya Maxamed Barkhadle (Nursing mother).

2. Ugaaso Saxane Aw-Siraad (nursing mother).

3. Kacaan Maxamed Jaamac (in the third trimester of pregnancy).

Our reporters are still gathering information such as how many other children did the deceased have left behind and the like. We plan on filing this information in our future reporting.

While the gruesome killings and extrajudicial killings carried out in Ogadēn by the Ethiopian (Woyane) militias masquerading as the Ethiopian army is not new, what is new is the targeting of nursing and pregnant women for such gruesome killings.

Our senior reporter in the area indicates that this gruesome acts on the part of the Woyane militias follows recent failures in the battlefields that these militias have encountered in the hand of the Ogadēn National Liberation Army (ONLA). He adds that this gruesome acts of criminality appears to a mistaken form of retaliation on the part of the Woyane militias deployed in and around Dhanaan.
