Does Col Yeey trust the RRA security structure in Baydhabo?

Recommended Posts

I know these are mere allegations. But it makes one wonder: does Col Yeey trust his life in the hands of the often confused RRA leadership?

REMEMBER, when the President/PM delegation was leaving Baydhabo to return to Nairobi, a group of renegade RRA soldiers demanded ransom money before the delegation could leave the airport. Things like these could happen - which only help to contribute more embarrassment for this fledgling government.

So, is Col Yeey willing to take the same risk or would he much rather bring in his "own boys" (as some (biased) websites have alleged)? Some claim that troops from Puntland and from Somali-inhabited Zone 5 (Somali Galbeed) will secure Baydhabo for the Pres/PM's next visit.

i highly doubt hell ever rely on 'outsiders' to protect him. he has a team of bodyguards of his own subsubclan running around from nairobi to boosaaso. these guys only get a break in gaalkacyo loool. on a serious note though, c/yussef sure as hell will be ordering his 'boys' to baydhabo and xudur, when you see folks like saransoor and xaabsade. its not the first time soldiers from puntland have travelled to/through baydhabo. youre saying biased reports claim thousands of puntland soldiers are headed to baydhabo. but pro-c/yussef were the first to report that puntland soldiers were being prepared in abqaale military base in gaalkacyo district for their work in the south, which happens to be baydhabo.
