Deni is isolated. People are tired of him. The presence of UAE has only benefited him, his family and close associates.

I believe he did, but the man is losing support very fast. His stubbornness doesn't help.

It's worth noting Pland troops and elders are in Sool now. Many didn't appreciate his hostility towards Northeast state.

I am not sure if that is the whole story. UAE with their own divisive agenda have helped Puntland with a lot. I believe if it was not their help Daaish would have overrun Bosaso by now. They also pay PMPF's salaries as well as many recently trained police. 
 

What needs to happen is to Somali leaders stop being nutters and work on Somali solution promoted by Somali agenda alone. Prostituting ourselves to Emirates or Saudis would only complicate the division and pronlong the civil war. HSM now thinks Saudis can come to his rescue and stay in power when all he has shown was complete incomptence. We are where we are because of him. Why change the constitution the only thing Somalis agreed on? Why seek division when the country has not yet recovered from long civil war?

What a wasted opportunity for HSM, with all these flights, and running around is so futile, if he spent 3 months , 6 months,  what ever takes grand conference, Somalis only, trust building and working a plan to bring Somalis together, a proper reconciliation. Domals are too divided, and this rate, more SL will form
