Ahmed Godane, Meecaad and Ibrahim dheer aka zaylici aren't going anywhere. They're candidate for Somaliland's leadership. They're coming home soon. Hope you will like the change.

Horn,

alshabaab is part of Somali actors, and so is Sh. Sharif. In my opinion both have similar goals but take different approaches. It's childish to suggest that Sh. Sharif is traitor simply because he abandoned an org he was not part of. He used other means to achieve his objectives. If you are under the elusion that alshabaab and Sharif ever belonged to the same organization you are wrong. They never were. And that’s ok. What is not ok is the notion of ‘if-you-don’t-follow-my-way-you-are-the-enemy’. That is so risky and dangerous adeer. That hard, no-nonsense approach my work against warlords, but it will fail miserably if used against other political entities.

I support peaceful dialogue because Somalida baan aad u aqaannaa, haddaan la heshiisiin haddaad arkaysaa maxkamadihii oo indhacadde hogaaminayyo oo Merka iyo Kismayo weerar ku ah. Haddaad arkaysaa xamar oo dhowr xaafadood u qaybsan.

Jabbuuti with all its anomalies is the closest we have for national political reconciliation. Sharif is the epitome of that noble approach.

And Ethiopia understands it very well. That is why she is appealing to the prevalent clannish sentiment in the south to abort it. It’s why it’s supporting Madoobe to convene a parliament session to select a president.

Red Sea has every right to support alshabaab. They’ve earned it. Where the brother slips is when he repeats Internet propaganda to advance alshabaabs cause. That’s unwarranted.

If Jabbuuti caravan is aborted, alshabaab’s approach will be the only reasonable alternative provided they have not played a role to abort it.

That's the last word.

Red Sea, from what I gathered, you support "Somaliland" only for its role as a reserve of stability for the rest of Somalia and therefore won't mind if it were absorbed into a centralized, islamist-inspired state whatever the outcome? That you won't entrust this beloved land of yours with a secular or a combination of secular/tribal and islamist goverment is the fundamental difference you have with SOLers . The latter is what the D-jibouti accord is based on as a long-term solution in both domestic and regional outstanding national issues in my understanding.

I haven't listened to the two brothers but it seems that they stand at the end point of two diametrically opposed views as far as preserving the nation from complete disintegration is to be the baseline number to which the future of our posterity is to be predicted.

Islamic state has always been a dream of mine. I don't mind if somaliland seccedes from rest of somalia and will support it as long as there exists 'non Islamic' rules to be abided by i.e democracy, federalism..etc. If however, there is a Muslim state with legit and just ruler, then I welcome a single adminstration which we can all come under its helm.

I know this will be hard for many swallow, but think of it this way. We are Muslims, the reason all else failed is because Islam is the only systemem possible of governing a Muslim ummah like somalis. NO other system will and can work. History is my witness to that. It's not too much to ask.
