There is no future. Somalia is a failed project doomed from the start. Time to give it up and accept both Somaliland and Puntland their U.N seats.

We have another secessionist this time with buluugo. Give it rest. No one will or should give those clan entities seats at the UN.

So from this historic recollection we understand the horrific slavery which took place in South Somalia under the Italian colonialists.

For instant 30,000 people died in a single canal which is named Asayleh. The name Asayleh which means "The Widow maker" due to the high number of women that became widowed after their enslaved husbands never returned home.

When the Italian farmer returns home, if he sees mud on the ground, he would call his slaves and ask them lay down on the floor one after another like a pavers until he reaches the door to his house.

This is the real history that should have been taught in Schools.

Somalis fought and lost, from the Biy@@l revolt, Sheikh Barsane, Nasiib Buundo, Sayid Abdulle Hassan, Omar Samantar to the courageous 13 men who found SYL and established branches from Harar, to NFD to all over Somalia. There is no shame in losing. More powerful nations have been humbled including the little island you so admire.

You seem to garner some twisted satisfaction from criminal acts inflicted on Somalis. It says more about than you realize.

You are missing the whole point.

Why was this history omitted and never studied in school?
