Somali troops training in Eritrea to return home

Recommended Posts

galbeedi

Uganda, Kenya, Ethiopia under TPLF and EU have been training Somali soldiers for 15 years , yet non of them could be found . They come home and disappear or join their tribal militia after  they have been denied any meaningful salary.

For just four years. over ten thousand well trained and disciplined force have been created by the Farmaajo administration.

The time has come for Amisom to leave. Farmaajo should ask Amisom to leave within the next 18 months. Hopefully within the one year extension and the next six months of his second mandate.

^its not about who sent them to train, it is about maintenance and structure not to mention their salaries.  Give credit where credit is due.

Hasan Sheikh said it clearly that 'if you are soldier and not happy with $100, Leave' or something to that effect.

Insha Allah, it will be even better as a state without its security forces cannot be viable.

"It's not clear who will pay the troops given that most of the soldiers are paid by the international partners"

Garoowe Online and its Kiikuuyo editor could not resist taking a parting shot by insulting Soomaali soldiers when they full well know that Soomaali soldiers are paid by dowladda dhexe.

If any soldiers are known to be paid by foreigners, it is his fellow, poorly paid Kiikuuyo mercenaries in Jubbada Hoose, paid by EU.

Their Kiikuuyo editor is also calling madaxweynaha 'outgoing.' Outgoing to where?
