This article is full of inaccuracies. The events the author describes took place in Somaliland. Hargeisa is the capital of Somaliland. Somaliland is no longer a part of Somalia. The union became defunct in 1991 and Somaliland restored its sovereignty.

If the author considers himself from of our neighbour to the south, it is his prerogative. But, we consider ourselves, Somalilanders.

One would expect the BBC to be accurate. Not only have your standards fallen, your credibility has also fallen. There was a time the BBC was held in high esteem, sadly, no longer.
