Italy Donates to Victims of Gati Cyclone in Puntland

Bosaso PP News Desk) — An aircraft carrying a donation from the Italian Government touched down at Bosaso Airport earlier today.

Mohamed Abdirahman: “We are grateful to the Italian Government for the donation to the victims of Gati cyclone.”

“We are here at Bosaso Airport to receive a donation from the Italian Government for people in Hafun, Iskushuban, Qandala and Bargaal, who were affected by the cyclone. We are grateful to the Italian Government for the donation. It is a timely donation that will benefit people whose lives have been adversely affected by the cyclone” said Puntland Interior Minister Mohamed Abdirahman.

Gati cyclone caused destruction in several coastal districts in Puntland. “We are grateful to all who coordinated the emergency donation for people whose livelihoods have been affected by the cyclone” added the Minister.
