Seyoum Mesfin: Abiy is a Threat to Ethiopia’s Sovereignty

The former Foreign Minister of Ethiopia Mr Seyoum Mesfin lashed out at the policies of the Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed whom he describes as ” the former Prime Minister of Ethiopia”.

In an interview with a journalist in the Tigray region, Seyoum accused Abiy Ahmed of damaging Ethiopia’s sovereignty  by hobnobbing with the Eritrean dictator President Isaias Afwerki. Mesfin alleges that soldiers from the Amhara region are ” being trained in Asmara” and that, under Abiy Ahmed, “Ethiopia has no a foreign policy.”
