Construction as far as the eye can see....

Very pleasing to the eye.

These machines do not sit there and talk politics. They do something that will be there for long time.

Hopefully after this Coronavirus distraction the roads to Kililka and the dry port will be priority.

Amazing how times change.

We all thought you are bragging when you started this thread. 2020 is just finished a quarter, yet so many things happened already to show there will be so many great changes this year.

Even Djibouti that always preached to Somaliland to stay in Somalia and find an arrangement, is having second thoughts.

Djibouti is going to invest in something big in Somaliland before the year is out. Cannot be the port of course, but maybe is factory and road work. Something is in Ghelleh back pocket. He always wants to have stake in Ethiopia(specifically Afar and Somali Kililkas), Somaliland. That way everybody around has risk and opportunity to stay in peace.

Somaliland is now more preferred by Ghelleh than Kililka, even with the shared clans.

Oodweyne

^^^^ Suldaanka,

That is a good story, a real heart-warming one, and it shows how far that School Abaarso had improved the educational chances of our youth in the country. And in a way, that, explains why so many people (in Somalia and their paid stooges in our country) have all of a sudden become real enemies of this school for some reason. For they are forever trying, in a rather desperate way, to tarnish the good name of this Abaarso school with all sorts of absurd innuendo and with a cheap attempt to besmirch the good and the stellar reputation it has.

However, we should let on the "proverbial dogs" with their cheap propaganda against this school to keep on barking from the side of the roads (if that is what floats their collective boats); for the "caravan" of this school and it's "well-rounded alumni students" in which it produces on a yearly basis will keep on taking the world by storm in a year after year to come. Kudos, I say.

Indeed, Abaarso Tech along with Edna Adan University and Sheikh Technical School are three select schools that are churning out new breed of future Somaliland leaders. These 3 schools only select the brightest students.

The below is the winning entry by the school freshmen class to the Global High Schools Challenge Prize by Sheikh Sayed UAE.

Foreigners invest millions into modern camel farming.

GG-Africa is a joint venture between Somalilanders and Germans. The idea is to create one of the biggest modern camel farming businesses in the Horn with around 10,000 milking-shecamels housed in a number of farms around Somaliland.
