Gunmen kill two in Bosaso

Bosaso (HOL) - Two young men have been shot dead in Bosaso on Tuesday near the town's main market.

Authorities in Bosaso have reported that Abdirizaq Hassan Barre and Abdikarim Abdulkadir were both killed when unknown gunmen opened fire on the two before escaping.

People in Bossaso told reporters that the two young boys were very close friends and recently graduated from the East African University of Bossaso.

Puntland security forces rushed to the scene of the killings but were unable to make any arrests.

Security forces have not put forth a motive and are continuing their investigation.
