The A-Z of A Year In The Bizzare.

A- is for arrested, which is what happened to New Zealand drug dealer, who sent an SMS, not realizing that the client had just been arrested for burglary and was sitting in a police station, the police replied, set up a meeting and the unlucky pusher got "BUSTED".

 

 

B- is for bacon-and-egg Ice cream, served by a three Michelin star restaurant in Bray-England.

 

 

C- is for Crenshaw from Indianapolis who was arrested driving with seven passengers inside her car and her three children aged six to eight in the boot,Oooh and she was drunk as well.

 

 

D- is for Drunk, which is what a man from Georgia certainly was when police woke him up one morning to ask what a headless body was doing in his pick up track parked outside his house. Apparently he drove home after drinking all night with his buddy, the guy (his buddy) then leant out of the track window and was decapitated by a telephone pole support wire when the driver mounted the pavement.

 

 

E- is for escort, the one ordered by a Chinese man who got the shock of his life when who should arrive but his own wife! She claimed she couldn't get by on the housekeeping money that he gave her.

 

 

F- Is for Flying Phil, runner Phil Robinowitz,100, who this year smashed the world 100 m record for men over 100 years of age by a full 6 seconds, his time:30.86 seconds.

 

G- Is for Gell, Allan Gell,who was very nearly executed in 1995 for murdering a track driver, he was acquitted this year on the basis that the prosecution withheld evidence and the trifling detail that he was probably nowhere near the scene of the murder at the time.

 

 

H- Is for Hassan, a Somali track driver who fell sleep while driving a fully loaded track and found himself 18 feet down the river, fortunately for him the track was loaded with plastic toys so no damages there plus he was rescued with his track.

 

 

I- Is for India and all the brilliant crackpots who enlivened this year’s election, like the man who campaigned with a dead mouse in his mouth, the man who urged voters not to vote for him (he wanted to get into the record books) and the man who painted 56 pictures of his favourite politician-using his own blood.

 

 

J- is for judo coach from South Korea who got so wound up during Athens Olympics that he punched a member of his own team, he was sent home.

 

 

K- is for Michael Knowles, who got himself arrested because his friend was driving without a seat belt. Police then noticed that he had a bullet wound in his leg and that the car was riddled with bullets. The two were charged with a bank robbery.

 

 

L- is for lottery, which a Turkish man pretended he had won to impress his friends, four men overheard the story, lured him to an empty house, sprayed insecticide in his face and strangled him when they couldn't find the ticket.

 

 

M- is for Moshi in Tanzania where an unnamed 23-year-old grade 7 pupil was arrested for selling Ganja at school, his mother was also held.

 

 

N- is for Nunes, the unluckiest burglar of the decade as he left Massachusetts video shop he had just burgled, he cut himself on a shard of glass from the pane he had smashed on his way in. he bled to death.

 

 

O- is for Oaklands Athletics Baseball team, whose fans went a bit too far badgering visitors and traditional rivals, the Texas rangers. Rangers pitcher Frank Francisco picked up a chair and threw it into the crowd, breaking a woman’s nose.

 

 

P- is for p@nis, apparently deranged Cambodian man cut off his own little partner and waved at ghosts who he believed were pestering him for food.

 

 

Q- is for Queensland in Kangaroo land where voting is compulsory, asked to explain why she hadn't voted in a state election this year, a woman wrote to officials, saying she was in New South Wales at the time, indulging in a group s@x with 30 men, so she couldn't get to the polling booth on time.

 

 

R- is for Revell, Ashley Ravell who sold all his possessions and put every last penny 800 pounds on one spin of a Las Vegas roulette wheel. He bet on red coming up. HE WON.

 

 

S- is for Seville-Spain, which gave us the husband who accused his wife of domestic abuse because she refused to sleep with him for five consecutive days. A judge shelved the case.

 

 

T- is for toilet, the portable kind, which Belarus man was sitting on when a group of robbers hitched it onto a tractor. The poor man broke his collarbone when he fell out while the tractor was travelling at 40km/h.

 

 

U- is for Urso Branco, a Brazilian jail where prisoners went on the rampage, barricading themselves off from warders, after a five-day standoff, 14 bodies were found, several of them cut off into pieces. Two years ago 26 inmates were killed at the same prison and a headless corpse was thrown over the wall.

 

 

V- is for Vancouver, home to a pig farmer who was charged with murdering 15 hookers. Police suspected that he might have fed some of his victims to his pigs.

 

 

W- is for wedding, especially the one involving a "30-something" Chinese man who hired a hooker to pretend to be his bride so that he could make some money from his wedding gifts. All was going well, the "Groom" was earning a 700% return on his investment, when suspicious guests forced him to admit his deception.

 

 

X- is for X-ray machines deployed at Heathrow Airport which, it was discovered allowed operators to view naked images of passengers. ( I bet, you didn't know this before)

 

Y- is for Yates, John Yates, a nutty who was sentenced in October to 6 months for keeping a 200kg tiger in his flat, prosecutors claim that he also had a lion, crocodile-like creature called "Caiman" and was looking to buy a bear at the time he was arrested.

 

 

Z- is for Zacatecas-Mexico, home to the politician who failed to make his party's list of candidates in a local election-so had himself nailed to the cross for an hours.

very interesting way of displaying the years bizzare moments! Some were kind of funny(in a dark sort of way) like like L & S :D

and some were down right disgusting like I P and U

Sorry Sister, but the world we are living in now is far from a "Pretty" as there are all kinds of nasty things happening with all kinds of nasty people roaming around and I was only reminding you that (in a nice way) smile.gif .
