  1. MKA Younis, you beat me to it! I think this is a good development. They can see the facts for themselves and will prevent them getting only a one-sided view of the real plans by the xrhiopians. Secondly, from this presence the TFG should press publicly, that the US compensates the nomads it has killed. A most regretable actions. It is disgraceful that the TFG have not yet apologised themselves.
  2. Very good news that he is safe. I'm hoping now he will form a alternative party that will be legitamte as a party of the people with the exiled former speaker, who I believe to be in Djibouti. The combination of both of them, would be great.
  3. These TFG have no shame, they will say anthing and do anything to profit from the people. The EU will no handover the money, when all it took, is someone to just say, we will have a conference. They have intention to be humble or show humility as they are being given their orders by the exthiopians.
  4. Legitimacy comes from the people not from international 'community'. This traitor is useful only for them.
  5. Castro, you are right. The cheerleaders, are drumming up support, but there is no masses cheering them on. Just weariness on the part of Somali. There is no alternative at the moment and none on the horizon. The same people you see today will be ruling in 20 years time. Taking orders from the xthiopians.
  6. It would be great if someone could create a list of those who are allied to the xthiopians. Gheedi is certainly the head honcho here and the buffon addieed. A full list of the names, would be helpful, if someone has it.
  7. This is happening, because of the fractious nature of Somali mindset, that has no concept of a nation state, oher only thinking for himself only. You can't really blame the Ethiopians, they have no coastline and see a bounty next door, in which people are killing each other, one tribe against the other. They are the biggest country in the world, with no sea access. For Somalia, no unity, 100% division. Who would no take advantage of this situation? Secondly, we are in the hopeless position of relying on the TFG, who have no support, but have to support, cause if they fail then it is back to square one, again.
  8. They just throw the passports in the table like that, no respect.
  9. This issue i'm of agreement with the TFG. Somaliland is a part of Somalia.
  10. Very impressive project, that is getting off the ground, that involves use of Somali tribes working together to make use of the richest fishing seas in the world. The project developers are currently capital raising. http://www.laasqorayport.org
  11. I always look forward to their reports, they and PINR are the most 'expert' in my view on research. They are not biased, while I find most Somali eyes like David Shinn, look at the situation from ethiopian eyes, which is not positive at all for Somalia you can read it http://www.crisisgroup.org/home/index.cfm?id=4630&l=2
  12. Originally posted by Northerner: Did the TFG even know about it? They will hear it via radio again and make the same comments. "It was a success, we dont who or what was hit nor do we know the casualties but i can confirm it was a success". I really really doubt, they are informed of this at all. They probably hear it from the news like the rest of us. Which goes to show, the low opinion this fake government is held.
  13. They xthiopians don't even try and hide their ambition on Somalia's coastline. http://nazret.com/blog/index.php?title=ethiopia_it_is_all_about_access_to_the_s&more=1&c=1&tb=1&pb=1

  15. Originally posted by abu ansaar17: if they were to leave peacefully i assure you they will come back again! the only way we somalians can move forward is to fight against ethiopia until it goes bankrupt and falls apart. I couldn't have said it better myself.
  16. Why are you heading to xthopia tonight? Why haven't you said a word about the innocents that died? Why no compensation to the nomads, killed? Why are the international relief organisations carrying the weight of all the efforts. Why aren't you touring the ravaged regions? Why are you acting so arrogrant, when you should be modest and reaching out to people, who disagree with you. What orders will the exthiopians give you? Probably what to do with Sheikh Sharif, since the americans are keen. The country is flat broke, no one is expecting him to shower money. All that he us is a man of the people and takes the practical measures necessary for healing.
  17. GD, you getting too far ahead of yourself, Explain why is A/Y heading to xthopia tonight? why? Why hasn't he said a word about the innocents that died? 18. The American expert on Somalia the one they call up first, Ken Menkhaus, called Adideed a 'lightweight' today in a aritcle today, look it up in google. This guy is simply a joke.
  19. It's complete fabrication. Never will happen. Never. What they're hoping at best is a Somali government will consult with them closely on issues that concern both countries. The TFG is simply the wrong 'government' at the wrong time. Whatever happens, its clear the countrty needs a professional army as soon as possible. All those billions the Gulf Arabs spend on it, seems like a good investment, looking at it from over here.

  21. I applaud this move. Whether the TFG can stop their arrogrance and choose this wise course is another thing. Even the Americans have suggested they talk and outreach with all members to create a national unity government, but they have decided not too. Seems like they only understand the law of the gun.
  22. My favourite part of Somalia is the Awdal region, in the far north. I have always been fascinated by Zeila and the area around it. There is a lot of history there and coral reefs, islands and nice beaches, so that is my favourite spot. What is yours? Look picture of the Zeila coast. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zeila

This would be a better death than american bribes. What do you suggest he do? Live in the jungle all his life? No. He is recognised as being a important man and he will no doubt play his part. I support him as being a good patriot. He should form a political party together with Sheikh Aden. They would be a winning team.
