But thats all in my head ofcourse and far from reality....Korean-love though, he's all too real. Alhamdulilah.

Personally, i dont care for what men dont like...they can deal with it. But I dont see why allah would leave such similar rewards out of the quran simply to please the sensitive (and overly jealous) minds of men. And sure, a woman wishing to marry more than one man would definatly be considered deviant if not weird or worst...a whore. The way i see it, if wine is halaal in heaven...i dont see why one woman's wish to have multiple husbands would be denied. Isnt that what heaven is all about? Getting what you want? i would hope no one would be calling her a whore in heaven...

    Today I....

Today im seriously considering shaving off my head.
  14. Hair color isnt haram, its just not allowed for you to color your hair black to hide the signs of aging(gray hair). Anyone who tells you coloring is haraam....is lying. Just ignore and walk away from them.
  15. ^i agree with that. Let the beatings begin. its almost friday...
  16. So its 'alright' if the imaam at the mosque smokes but i cant smoke cuz im a hijabi? Thats a load of bs.
  17. Originally posted by AAliyah416: For some reason I can deal with khamiis dude smoking as oppose to hijaabi that's smoking. I really don't know why lol..but you are right it's bad for both. Thats because you've been conditioned and brainwashed into accepting that men can get into any shit...and still be thought of as saints. Its alright though, soon inshallah you'll snap out of it and find it extremely ugly and gag inducing when you see a khamees wearing brother smoking. I have faith in you.
  18. its not shocking to see hijabis smoking. Just spend a day in edmonton and you'll see plenty of hijabi women openly smoking. It looks odd at first but...then its watever. If a man wearing khamees can smoke right after praying friday prayer, whats to stop a hijabi sister doing the same? smoking is haram...its not 'okay' for men to smoke and 'bad' for women. Its BAD for BOTH.

    Hot and Cold

^^aww you poor dear, alhamdulilah i've never had to deal with tears. sheh, it is to do with menses and not just random moment events. And i know its normal but thats still doesnt make it any less frustrating. malika, huuno...i've heard that 'get married' line so many times it makes me sick. I cant possibly get married and have a kid simple to see if the cramps will go away. even if it does go away, i'll have a child im not ready to deal with yet...so no no to that. Do the birth control pills really work? i'd take them but doc (after telling me to take them) listed a boatload of sideaffects... Korean love is um, he shares my views...rushing things is never a good idea. Inshallah we'll walk to the mosque soon enough...
  21. a simple hadith answers it all Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, "O Muslim women! None of you should look down upon the gift sent by her she-neighbour even if it were the trotters of the sheep (fleshless part of legs)." I personally think its rude to return the gift or show that you're disappointed or hate it. Just take it, smile and say thanks...what you do with it after that is up to you.

    Hot and Cold

Amid the cramps, bloating, mood swings, cravings, etc.... Does anyone experience days (or hours) of extreme cold or warmth? I mean, you could be sitting in room with the heat on high and you'd still be shivering despite having two sweaters and a blanket on you. anyone? no? okay, how about feeling so so hot that -18 weather has you sweating still? no? *sigh* I get serious cramps that sometimes have me missing work and school ( i have so many doctors notes!!) subhanallah, its just crazy how bad it gets at times. But alhamdulilah it doesnt last more than a day or two and with a certain amount of drugs i can manage to function and carry out my daily tasks. But what i dont have a solution to is the hot and cold weirdness. It happens so sudden, no warnings at all. One minute im fine and listening to a lecture...the next my entire body is shaking and shivering and i cant possibly get warm enough. Or i get so hot i feel like im on fire and burning from the inside out. i rarely experience feeling really warm but i have a friend who has that all the time and it drives her mad. sorta like hot flashes only they last so much longer. Anyway, does anyone face any of this? if no...then i guess you can just pray for me (and my friend) but if you do then please do tell how you manage it. Despite the many times my mother tells me that this is all dambi dhaaf...i'd like nothing more than to rewind time and be born male. *sigh* oh if wishes did come true...if only.
  23. Thank you all for responding. This has been on my mind for sometime and even with all the answers im getting, i cant seem to really absorb any of it. I get that women on earth do become jealous when their husband marries another woman, and that allah removes this jealousy from women when they enter heaven... But then, if allah is doing that for women...why not just make men content with just one woman in heaven? wouldnt that just solve everyone's problem? I just dont understand the need for this 70women per every man incentive that men are offered. Sure that may be what every man wants (and heck, why wouldnt they when they're promised the strength of a 100 men?!) but what incentive do we women get? What if i dont fancy gold? or silk? The whole 'no aging' thing is for both genders so that really doesnt count. subhanallah, may allah forgive me if im wrong in questioning. But it really just doesnt make sense ya know. Bless
  24. ^if that above statement is true, then i must seriously go see my doc about my overall health.
  25. Peace and blessings upon you all. In many parts of the quran allah states that it is deeds and not gender that dictates who gets what in jennah and that men and women equal before allah. Surah 3:195 So their Lord accepted their prayer: That I will not waste the work of a worker among you, whether male or female… Surah 16:97 Whoever does good whether male or female and he is a believer, We will most certainly make him live a happy life, and We will most certainly give them their reward for the best of what they did. Surah 33:35 Surely the men who submit and the women who submit, and the believing men and the believing women, and the obeying men and the obeying women, and the truthful men and the truthful women, and the patient men and the patient women and the humble men and the humble women, and the almsgiving men and the almsgiving women, and the fasting men and the fasting women, and the men who guard their private parts and the women who guard, and the men who remember Allah much and the women who remember — Allah has prepared for them forgiveness and a mighty reward. Now why is it that when this ayah Surah 4:57 But those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah - Islamic Monotheism) and do deeds of righteousness, We shall admit them to Gardens under which rivers flow (Paradise), abiding therein forever. Therein they shall have Azwajun Mutahharatun [purified mates or wives (having no menses, stools, urine, etc.)] and We shall admit them to shades wide and ever deepening (Paradise) . is broken down and explained by sheikhs, they make it a point to state that 'azwaj' means spouses for the men. When clearly the ayah did not say the reward was for men only. It states that 'THEY' shall have 'aswaajun mutahharatun'. They being those who believe, which includes women. I do have a question in all of this, its not a rant or anything. Ive been doing some readings about what the rewards for women in jennah is, there are so many hadiths that you can find that go on and on about the 72 virgins that each man will get and the power of a 100 men...but what about the women? What do they get besides the beautiful green gowns, being more beautiful than the hor al ayn, and gold? Isnt there something specifically for women?
