how could any allow habashis march into your home towns after all these years is beyond me. My point excatly, i just can't undrestand you bring #1 enemy into the country that is why i think they are cowards and they will never get public support no matter how much control they gain..
  2. How do you think McNabb is coping with all this? Garcia came in and took over the team. There you go again taking your cheap shot on Mcnabb, the dude was havaing a great yr before he got hurt and not to take anything away from garcia infact i was rooting for him to win but the reality is Reed decided to balance his offense now and run more..You know when Mcnab is in there they ask him to do more as supposed to get everybody else involved..like they doing it now..But regardless this team is playing great..
  3. I can't believe this thread was left dead and the playoff is just around the corner..Everyone is taking they shots at colts but i have feeling they will get they $hit together come to the playoffs..And how about Garcia and philly just kicking in major a$$es against big teams..Big up to philly they deserve to get their probse..

BTW, Did you see those idiotic comments Kobe made about Gilbert Arena’s performance against the Lakers? He called his 60 pts outing LUCKY. That "liitle boy" is a sore loser! 50 pts and 60 pts are not lucky pts, kobe should keep his mouth shut after he let arenas dominate him big time..But in reality this team is missing lamar Odom so bad, the guy was just having a good yr before the injury..I hope he gets better soon.. Hey Jay, i know this is sports section and i normally don't visit the politics section as i don't have same view as those ppl but what do you think the amharo ppl and the so called transitional goverment commiting massacre against our ppl back home?..I don't mean to effend anyone but i think the TGF leaders are cowards..

playmaker sxb lets not bring real basketball on the court, because not only would i cross, dunk, or post, spin, shoot in they eye and dominate they azzz, i would also let them know that if its street ball, dont even test the gun. it just might blow on you, so in that case, playmaker i'll let u handle them, since the elite is all i play against lol Dang J.A.B, So you are a humble guy after all lol..well since you put it that way we don't want embarrass them so i will handle the light weights for you..

The only thing he can play is Video games Wel doesn't that count for something.. Hey Jay you kind of pick and choose what you are quoting me on, there is no denial the lakers championships was a team effort but at the same time you can not deny kobe was just as lethal as shaq, and i can't believe you bring the airballs back, c'mon the kid was just out of high school..17yrs old man!! Hey talking about games, arenas had sweet revenge last night after the suns coach cut arenas from the olympic team arenas said he was gonna drop 50 on them and that is what he did..I like it the fact he wasn't trying to sugar coat it or anything he said he wanted to beat this guy because of what he did to him in the summer..after the game he said one down one to go..N.Mcmillan you next buddy.. hehe, but I am sure PM has game Don't be fooled yaw, the old man can still hold his ground..bring it..LazieG that little jay of yours is not gonna work here, my boy just-A-B will swap that of the air..

We can't put the same argument forth for selfish kabe since he was nothing but a side kick in those championships in LA. You can not be serious Jay, where you even watching any of their games? Go back to that game7 against blazers (their 1st run) down 17 pts in the 4th qtr, it was kobe who took over the game not shaq, against Pacers in the finals on the road shaq gets fouled out and they win that game and gues who took over that game? Yep your boy again, against kings he always killed them fools. The fact is shaq was dominant in his time but than he became lazy way out of shape going into the season and that didn't sit well with kobe plus he was on the way a lot of time and didn't want him to take over the games.. Don't try to tell me shaq won a ring with out him, that was all D, Wade and some help from Ref's. I know you hate the dude but don't deny his accomplishment.. My Nets are first in their division LazieG, thanks to that weak division but they are struggling with injuries.. BTW guys less talk we could settle this on the court, Me and Just-a brotha against Jay and LazieG?

haha, We have jay changing his color uniform to blue..i don't blame you thou philly sucks big time.. LazieG there is unwritting rules in the sports not to embarass your opponents but george karl try to do just that and it cost him big time, he is gonna be missing two of his best players for 15 games..good job karl, you lucky they did that trade just in time or they would find their self at the bottom of their division. I think the trade will work for AI, it's a perfect fit for him because denver is up tempo fast break team.. Jay Lakers are for real and they bring it everynight especially when you have kobe you know you are never out of it.perfect example the game against rockets down more than 20pts i still have that feeling the lakers had a chance to win and that's what happened..game against Utah samething..there were a lots of good lakers games that i wacthed this season and they were all good games..just try to watch one of these games and you may change your mind about this team..

LazieG, i knew you was undercover fan all along..If i had a dollar everytime you said kobe i would be rich.. Anyway the trade is almost official denver will get AI for andre miller and 2 draf picks, too bad minnesota couldn't get it done but good for the nuggets.. As far as the brawl i think denver was wrong for rubbing the knicks on their face i mean c'mon you are up 20pts with less than 2 minutes left and you still have your starters in the line up, you have to expect the other team will retaliate. At the same time there is no excuse for what carmelo did.. It's all good that you are sticking up for your boy but don't sucker punch the man and back peddal like a little bi$ch..

I disagree with you Mr Red sea, i think phoenix, Dallas and Lakers are all better than the spurs right now..Phoenix is the hottest team in the NBA and it seems stoudamire is back to the player he was two yrs ago when he dominated Tim Duncan in the playoffs..

I know minnesota don't have much to offer in AI trade but how about this thou jay..I know philly will love have their hometown boy so minnesota will give up Randy Foye, Ricky davis and first round pick..but the problem may be MN will go over the salary Cap so you throw Mike James contract which Philly could use anyway..Bottom line is minnesota needs to get this deal done whatever it takes, this is once in a life time chance and they have nothing to loose but to try it and GET IT DONE ..KG interview on the local TV was the funniest thing, the Dude was so excited about the possibilty of getting AI , they had to censor his words. It was bleeep..AI cmon n!ggaa...Hey K/Mchale bring that niggaa here..

I am sure you guys heard the trade demand about AI and one of the teams that he like to play for is the Twolves..are you serious? K.G and AI on same team c'mon, minnesota better be do everything to get this guy but knowing K.Mchale and how tight he is on spending and upgrading the team i doubt he will get it done..Please make this move. this is how i would've done this trade..Minnesota gets Philly gets Let's get it done..i am willing to unload 6players for AI.

I like your list guys but i don't think Vin Baker belongs to that group.. Here is my list. Center..The dream hakeem/David Robinson P/F Shawn Kemp/Charless Barkley/Chris Webber S/F Pippen S/G Penny,Mj and Grant Hill. you right Jay that nike comercial was off the hook.. P/G Kevin Johnson/Tim hardaway I will destroy your team any time guys.
  14. Ten yrs for me alhamdulillahi..I think the most important thing is be honest and if you truely love your wife just let her know the way you feel about her.. Let go your egos and compromise for your family that should be your first priority anyway, use kind words towards each other...Sometimes if you feel things are boiling up just walk away and leave for few minutes (trust me it works all the time). I think all that counselling talk is garbage just be yourself and say baby you mean everything to me and mean it.. I like Northener's version and i totally agree with you about the sports side of it..that should be our get away thing or stress relief as you may call it.

Sweetie, save your tough guy act, "look at me, I know what I'm talking about" ways for someone else. LazieG If it ain't for your cockiness you could learn one or two thing from the experts.. Anyway how about the magic being 11 and 4, looks like Grant Hill is back..
  18. Check this out guys, i saw this on the local news few days ago..It's is real nice. Posted on 11/24/2006 5:59:55 AM PST by Valin The landscape has changed at the state high school cross country meet at Saint Olaf College in Northfield. A brand new wind turbine spins 350 feet above the course. Yet, it's still not the biggest turnaround in Minnesota high school running. Three years ago, the Willmar boys cross country team didn't dream of making it to state. The team didn't win a meet all year, finishing ninth out of nine schools in the Central Lakes Conference. "Our goal was not to get last every meet," says one former runner. A farming community of 18,000 people, the best Willmar could hope for during cross country season was a record corn crop. But on the Minnesota prairie, seeds of change are sprouting. "Good job Mohad, Mohamed. Good job Abshire," shouts Willmar cross country co-coach Jerry Popp. He yells again to get the attention of three more runners. "Abdi! Kaafi! Mufu!" By some estimates Willmar is now home to 1,000 Somalis, coming in waves the past few years for jobs at the Jennie-O turkey plant. Abdi Awale was the first Somali teen to join Willmar's cross country team. Abdi recruited Kaffi Adeys, who helped recruit Mohamed Bedel, who recruited Mustafa Yustuf, who recruited Ahmed Hussein. Popp recalls, "They'd come up and say 'Popp, we got some new runners,' and then I'd go 'How do you know they're runners,' and they'd go, 'They're African. They're skinny.'" Coach Popp extended the welcome and Somali runners kept coming. This year's boys's team roster included ten Somali runners, who mixed freely with Willmar's white runners during a recent post-practice stop for hot chocolate at Popp's home. "I don't really see it as Somali and white kids," says runner Phil Cleary. "I see it as Abdi, I see it as Zach, I see it as Mufu, I see it as Mo. I don't really see it as we're different. We're just a team." But not just any team. Three years ago Willmar didn't win a meet. Last year it won the Class AA state championship. This year Willmar arrived at the conference meet ranked fifth in the nation. The conference meet ended with the top five runners finishing in this order - Willmar, Willmar, Willmar, Willmar, and Willmar. "It's been an incredible story. The whole community is behind them," says a Willmar parent who came to watch. For the roughly 40 Somali students at Willmar High School, the transition has not always been easy. Principal Rob Anderson says, "We saw kids come in this summer that had two years of formal education in 18 years." "I didn't even know if I could finish high school," says Bedel. Now he and the other top Somali runners are weighing college athletic scholarship offers. They've been motivated to improve their grades to meet college entrance standards. "I plan on studying physical education, being a coach," says Adeys, who hopes one day to coach cross country and track. Anderson says he's seen a tremendous amount of pride in the accomplishments of the cross country team that has, "helped these Somali kids blend in and integrate faster." There may be no better proof of that than a recent noon meeting of a Willmar Lions Club. Runner Mustafa Yusuf lunched with local business leaders, even joining them in singing 'Home on the Range,' a song he admitted later he had never heard before. "They want to be known as Willmar kids," says Popp. Which brings us back to the turnaround for Willmar's cross country team. Ten new Somali runners did not hurt. But neither did another new arrival. He's an immigrant from North Dakota who moved to Willmar to be closer to his adult children. You know him as Coach Jerry Popp. North Dakota remembers him for his 39 boys and girls state team titles, a record unmatched in North Dakota history. Three years ago Popp joined Willmar's existing coach, Disa Daucsavage. New coach, new Americans, and Willmar had a cross country convergence. Prior to last year, just two teams had brought state titles home to Willmar, in any sport. So how couldn't Willmar be excited, when its boys cross country team won the Minnesota state team championship for the second consecutive year. "It's a new chapter in the American saga," said Somali native Abdulcadir Gall as he watched the Willmar cross country team accept its championship trophy. Another banner for Willmar high school, another page turned in the land of 10,000 stories. It often takes time to get to know new neighbors. Willmar's kids said, "why wait?" BTW i was cheering so loud when i saw 5 somali guys finished not just #1 but sweep for 1st, 2nd,3rd,4th, and 5th..my first time i saw anything like this..It was power full..way to go somali runners we have arrived..

waraa Just-A-B, Don't try to convince jay and LazieG about how good the lakers will be..they are just kobe haters.. B.T.W Jay what is happening with your early surprise pick chicago bulls? your boy B.wallace had Zero rebound and Zero points last night and they lost their 6th game in a row.. nice pick son..
  20. J.Lee Cougars? are you serious? Hey anyway that was a good game i think these 2 teams are the best in the nation and should have a rematch for the BCs game..Or maybe USC will sneak in if they beat ND and UCLA..
  21. Go big blue, Ohio state have not played any team like michigan yet this team have explosive offense and they will have their best WR back for that game. It is gonna be a good match to watch hopefully i will be home just for the half time to watch it..But my team is the gators and they may actualy play for BC after one of these team loose badly..

I was sticking with the wolves and the nets but the season is just started so you and jay should not be excited about three games into the season..
