Contrary to your assertion about Somaliland, I am a dreamer of Somali-weyn. Now it is upto you to try to link the disparate threads. But obviously that is not good enough a position for an angry and a tribal man. You expects me to throw curses at Somaliland (which i will not do)- the current impassse is not of their making, and the solution doesn't lie in antagonising and bullying the hospitable Somali's in the North. Moreover, the seemingly myopic philosophy of 'either you are with Somaliland or with puntland' doesn't fit me. it is too tight. I am with whoever is right on the issue/debate at hand. Emperor; I fully understand JB interst in this one and i am not playing into his hands. As a matter of principle, i don't approve of collective guilt. Someone in Puntland did it, and that is unfortunate. There is no way the people of Puntland should feel ashamed of anything. They have done nothing. But the man should hang himslef if he has a shred of decency left in him! the same is true when few in Somali-land did the same. NN, Emperoro, and JB I strongly object to connotations of clan geneology in this discussion for i beleive we are all tol in the real sense: Somali. It is commandable that the Puntland elders came out and condemned the incident. As ONLF supporter, i take it with good heart and think it is a wise thing for them to do. At the end of the day, the brotherhood of the people (all somali's) is more important than unfortunate incidents like this one-however painful it is.
