  1. salam...

First of all,its truely sading to hear about discrimnation of the minorites not just migdaan ppl.But the big question is : what can we/they do about this discrimnation?

well for a starter these minorites have to mix more with the wider somali communitty instead of siting back and taking this discrimination. they have to be involved in things such as politics( only way u get respect in somalia) , community activy and making wider somali community aware of who they are.A good example is www.midgaan.com.

another thing is too be proud of who u are. if reject who u are discrimnation will contunie.i think a good example for the somali minorites is the african americans and the word "nigger". as late as 25-30yrs ago african americans were discrimnated aganist most afriad to tell say their race and afraid to use the word "nigger". but today is a whole different story, i will let u figure out who that changed occure..and no its not just due to rap.

    anways..salaam..wun luv.

  2. winger..what is this arsenal hating i see? lol

anways as u know where in the group of death..the toughest group of all..so it anit easy..struggle is the key..the more u struggle the more confidence u have to get out of tight postion later on..but i hope we beat valancia tonight..or atleast draw...i remeber last time ..it was so disapointing...

ps. don't worry man utd has faced tough teams yet...juv where delepted side ..and lacourna where in a tough time both ecl and the spainish league ..we will see the next round.

  3. yow whats this arsenal bashing?

to all u man utd fans just remember ur glory days are over.just coz we lost on the weekend does mean u guys will catch up..just means we will win the title under ur nose which makes it more sweeter..and more pain for u man utd.. :Dicon_razz.gif

  4. Would you marry a non-somali man/woman if u are good for each other?!!

No matter how deep the love is i don't think i can marry a women who isn't somali...but hey everyone has their choices :D

don't assume dat all somalis r muslims.

As far as iam concerned somalis where 99.9% muslim..never seen a non muslim somali in my life.

  5. ameenah nice topic..

But i wanan ask you can u tell me who are these terrorists u refer too?

First of all no body is a terrorist, alot of these so called terrorist are people who simply

opose what the , is that a crime , after all anit they ie americans and allies saying this is a democrate world where anyone has a freedom of speech? when a muslim person opose what they are doing hes automaticly a "TERRORIST".

since 9/11 i don't think much has changed, palestian was/still occupied, iraq is still under sancations, and the rest of the muslim countries are all disfucntional. but alot of good has come out from 9/11, alot of non muslims strated to learn more about islam and embrace it aswell, and the unity which they had is falling apart.

We have Mr Bin Laden to blame for the fall of the Taleban regime (not ideal but better than most). More damagingly, these heroic acts of terror (if I may call them that) has given the very enemy of Islam a perfect excuse to wage war on the Muslim world and at the same time help America serve its personal interests

Osama this osama that is all i hear, but iam 100% sure that sheike osama had nothing to with terrorism, he only spoke the truth by telling muslims its time to stand and realise this can't go on any longer like this , hey atleast someone is trying to motivate the sleeping muslims.

Now, my question is. How do we the average Muslims deal with such a bizarre and confounding situation?

The way we deal with these bizare situation is too work hard in knowlege wise and our religion as a individual. But the most affect method is educating islam to the non muslims and that islam is not as its portraed in the media.

sorry if i was too long . :D but thats how i view this situation

  6. salam ...

I want to ask you whats the major obstacle in bring peace to somalia?

from my opinion i think its INTERFERNCE of somali politics by other states and organisation, if these states and organisations stop supporting these warlords we could have peace in no time.

anwayz nomands drop ur opinion .

  7. w/salaam....abaayo...

First of all the girl is 17, at the age of 17 she should be thinking about her education and which path in life she would take instead of getting married. shes very young at the moment and iam sure she not very well informed of the hardship in life, and marrage is a very big big responsiblity. at the age of 17 its very easy to fall in love ;) .

Secondly running away is the worest sceniro, because you disrespect ur partners and you will be isolated from the family. no man is worth a family.because at the end of the day if something happend who would she turn too?

Thirdly this guy should respect the family and leave this girl because at the moment shes young and really doesn't know what shes getting into. and if hes religious and smart he should workout a way to return to his former wife and sort out the problem or find another lady.

so my conculsion would be the girl to forget about this guy, hes not the only guy in the world, and the guy should leave the girl alone and return to his wife .

    i hope that helped a lil.. :D:D
