  1. Just last 2 weeks Somaliland has exported close to 500 thousand heads of livestock to Suadi Arabia, UAE and Egypt. Egypt has become a huge market since the start of this year, ordering approx 20,000 heads of sheep every month.

But in the grand scheme of things, this issue is one of principles, Somaliland will maintain its relations with Taiwan because it makes sense. yes, China has a lot of money. But money is not everything. If you want to see the legacy of China in Africa, one needs to look closely at Angola, Mozambique and Zambia. Not the shining examples of success.
