    caamir i belive you have point here. I don't think this will work also naming saleebaan ^^^^ciise axmed xaglatoosiya from buuhoodle will not change anything. He got the job after he was defeated by Cabdisamad Cali Shire for madaxweeyne kuxigeenka puntland . Mr faroole needed to choose the good people of the locals residents.

You rised vaild point and it is very good to be considered. but not all puntlanders would agree with you. I am for greater somali's i am not realy big van of land, land land land land and so on.

    adeer i live right next to mudane Samatar.he is a man of honor, the General did his duties. for those of us who live in fairfax va and sarouding we are in support with Mudane samatar.

     

    There was another case about general Tuka and it end up success. The Genaral is free to go and enjoying his life. Those looser was told by the court they did not had enought evdance about Tuke's case.

     

    Mudane samatar has all the somali communities behind him and he will win.

    Very intersting . Mr duke if there is no peace there is no life. People of puntland proved that, They enjoyed peace.

    Thursday January 08, 2009 (HOL) - Pundlanders have voted for a new President and Vice President today. The new President and Vice President will lead the semi autonomous region in the north east of Somalia in the next four years.

     

    Mr. Abdirahman Faraole has been elected the President, beating second place candidate General Abdulllahi Ilka-Jiir. Mr. Abdirahman got 49 votes of the 66 of votes in the Parliament while Ilka-Jiir received 17 votes in the second round of the elections which took place in the city of Garoowe, the capital of Puntland region.

     

    The current President Mr. Ade Muse was also in the second round but

    received only 8 votes. After the results of the elections were made public, thousand of supporters of the President-Elect came out on the streets to celebrate and show their support for the newly elected President.

     

    The election of the President was followed by the election of the Vice President where Mr. Cabdisamad Ali Shire won over his rival candidate Mr. Suleiman Toosiye, marking the end of presidential election in Puntland.

     

    It is important to note that election took place democratically and without any problems, a milestone in the evolution of democracy in the region
