    A lot of brainwashing has been going on, for some extreme secession union means destruction , they blindly support the idea of secession, and without consideration deny those who are against , but live in the former British Somaliland. the other reason they deny it is cuz without formar British SL borders as bases, they know they have little chance for their clannish agenda. and then there are few, usually from diaspora, who are naive and think there is some kind of real democracy in SL.

     

    But i am sure secession will not succeeds for this reason. Few opportunists in SL led the secession idea and denied the rest of the population to hear or excise any other political opportunities.

    I understood JB's logic, and I reckon it could be quite possible, you have to think outside the box, imagine this sheikh received alleged threat from Alshabaab? and some people people knew this ( he told his family, friends, Puntland government etc) but someone knowing this, used as opportunity, and eliminated him, knowing that they will not be the suspect.

     

    I don't know who killed this well respected Sheikh, but I tell you one thing, I don't buy blanket blame, that Alshabaab is doing all the killings in Puntland.

     

    Why would Puntland government, preempt the forensic findings, and announce Shabaab was behind this within hours of the killings, before conducting and completing the investigation, and finding who the real criminals are? very unprofessional.
