TFG, AMISOM Ethiop troops peacefully patrolling the capital
Som@li replied to Gordon Gekko's topic in Politics
I am not happy either, but i am optimistic! -
There is no need to continue endless war, 17 years is enough, and nobody is a winner. Somalia is occupied, and the sooner Somalis work together, and end the cycle of voilence, the better. And this world is not a fair place, dont expect any justice.

There is a flaw with Somaliland concept, By trying to rewrite the Somali history to get recognition is a shame. British didnt not leave Somali territory willingly, we kick them out. -
1 INTRODUCTION Sayid Maxamed, who was the Somali nationalist hero and father of modern Somali nationalism, inspired at the end of the nineteenth century was realized, partly, with the creation of the Somali state half a century later. He envisaged the Somali state as being a unified political unit and nurturing a political ideology surmounting clanism. Both attributes were part of the modern Somali nationalism when it reawakened in early 1940s. The Daraawiish structure can be considered a state as the three salient features of state are defined as territory, population living in that defined territory and a government who is sovereign to rule the country and the people. Though fluid, all these characteristics can be found in the Daraawiish. This became clear when Italy and Britain, signed a treaty (the Ilig Treaty) with the Daraawiish on 5th March 1895. The treaty stipulated that the Mullah should rule the territory between the ********** Sultanate in the north and the Sultanate of Hobyo (Obbia) in northeastern Somaliland. The agreement also granted the Daraawiish watering and grazing rights for their livestock within British Somaliland.[ii] Daraawiish nationalism endured in a period when Somali society was widely dispersed and lacked the necessary organisations to form a single political unit, and at a time when colonial powers such as Britain, Italy, and France were expanding their hegemony over the country. As the clan was and still is the most important political unit in the traditional system, Somalis rejected the replacement of their traditional system with that of a state system as offered to them by Sayid Maxamed. Somalis preferred to live in clanism rather than a system that they did not know. I will discuss in this paper the conflict of the Daraawiish state and Somali clans. The Failure of The Daraawiish State

Ayoup,ICU were threath to Ethiopia, Man,they declared war. Ethiopia is already war with Eritrea, and there is no way they would allow another govenment against them in the region, bro they are NOT sstupids, and send thousands of soldiers, many died for what,to secure their country. TFG was just a tool, a key for Ethiopia to eliminate the danger frm ICU. YEs, there were many other factors which led for the Ethiopian invasion.

I also bought a copy of John Perkin's book, it is a wonderful book, and eye-opener! Bro, Che, Nationalision could be a little problem compare to being slave to big capitalist US companies. I believe after some time many countries will follow Chaves 's plan. Countries like Argentina, Mexica can never repay their debt, and are owned by US.

A man escapes from a prison where he's been locked up for 15 years. He breaks into a house to look for money and guns. Inside, he finds a young couple in bed. He orders the guy out of bed and ties him to a chair. While tying the homeowner's wife to the bed, the convict gets on top of her, kisses her neck, then gets up and goes into the bathroom. While he's in there, the husband whispers over to his wife: "Listen, this guy is an escaped convict. Look at his clothes! He's probably spent a lot of time in jail and hasn't seen a woman in years. I saw how he kissed your neck. If he wants sex, don't resist, don't complain... Do whatever he tells you. Satisfy him no matter how much he nauseates you. This guy is obviously very dangerous. If he gets angry, he'll kill us both. Be strong, honey. I love you!" His wife responds: "He wasn't kissing my neck. He was whispering in my ear. He told me that he's gay, thinks you're cute, and asked if we had any Vaseline. I told him it was in the bathroom. Be strong honey. I love you too!"
