    Name: Xasan Sheek Mohamud (The correct spelling of the candidate's name)

     

    Bio of Xasan Sheekh Mohamud:-

     

    Somali educated. In 1981, he graduated from the SOmali National University. Right after, he was employed in the Ministry of education as a teacher/trainer Lafole Technical Secondary School where he taught students and

    trained artisans.

     

    Briefly, he taught at the Technical Teacher's training College, Lecturer.

     

    Between 1990-2011, he he worked as an advisor and consulted with such organizations as:-

     

    UNDP Somalia

    Conciliation Resources

    International Peace Building Alliance (Interpeace)

    Center for Research and Dialogue

    Unicef Somalia (his longest gig)

     

    Since 2011, he was the founding member of PEACE AND DEVELOPMENT PARTY (PDP) in Somalia. He is

    currently the party's chairman.

     

    In 1986, Xasan Sheek Mohamud became head of the department before he travelled to India to attend a master of technical education program offered by Bhopal University in india.

     

    No mention on whether or not he completed the program in India but he did come back to Somalia just before

    the Civil war.
