  1. It may sound strange to you. But I look at an issue and stand by those who are right and just, and not idealogicly choose a side and lock my self up with an ideolgy. The world is changing day by day, we somalis are changing, our governing systems is changing, politicians are changing, situations are changing. Would be weird to try to stop change, instead of evolute with change. You know all these acquisations of you guys are nothing new to me. Here where I live, I am called by some F*a*q*a*s*h, by others Somaliland d*h*a*b*a*d*h*i*l*i*f and again by others tribalist.

This one is for you,

  4. I cant imagine how you can brag about people being killed or being captured. I call for Peace. And I wished those of you who reside in peacefull countries, would have the luxury to call for peace. a call for peace,
  5. I refuse too choose between my people and I refuse too choose between the tribes. But I do choose for those who stand on the side of progress, peace, prosberity. I choose the people, not just the symbols. Timacade once said "Dugsi Maleh Qabyaaladi, wexe dumiso mooyane". This one is for your education, This one should be familiar to you, Jaamac Kaadiya, Somali baan ahay, One of the best poets, one of the rare real somali nationalist, who really captured what one makes or identifies as somali in his poems.
  6. Some people do love titles. Well Proffesor is not a title its a specific academic position within a University. Check this link, PDF This guy was a Phd candidacte last year. And to my knowledge you dont become a Proffesor from a Phd candidate in one year. He was supposed to be doing a Phd on 'Somali Foreign Policy Decision Making Process' at the West Virginia University. I cant find his dissertation. Anyone has a link of it?
  7. What is the relevance of this discussion? What is the relevance of the TFG?
  8. Good move by Puntland. I think this as a real good development. Which parties would be formed? I heard these guys from Sweden are prebaring to compete in Puntland. http://www.ssup.se/ But I dont know if Socialism would be still popular after the experience with Somali Socialism(Xisbiga Kacaanka). A Pirate party would be also an good idea. There is a whole worldwide movement of pirate parties, they even have got elected in the European Parliament. Pirate Party
  9. This is what they call Monkey Business.
  10. I am Somali and the blue flag is not what defines nor represents my Somali being. That is your definition.
  11. I dont care about the recongnition you are taking about. I do care about reality. And reality is that I see a tribe which is very divided, where there are (changing) different political ambitions that contradict. Where traditional and political leaders of that tribe sing and say something in 1991,change their mind in 1998 and again in 2007. And instead of facing reality and trying to unite their own people and seeing eye to eye, some rather blame others and collect money to wage wars, while they some never collected money to feed the needy, to dig wells, to save those who say they care about. And lets face it. Today you want to liberate Sool from "Somaliland", and yesterday your people liberated Sool from "Puntland". This has nothing to do with wanting Somaliland or Puntland, at the end its the same desert. It has nothing to do with some wanting the Somali union, and some wanting sessesionism. This is about not knowing what wants and turning with each wind. If I were you, I would pray that your tribe becomes united. Because winning this so called war, is losing for your kind on the other side. Reality is sad and hard.

  13. Originally posted by Sensei: I bleed blue as our forefathers bled blue! Nice try. But my forefather knew nothing about this blue flag. They knew about xaadarad, xaq, xul, xaal and xallin. All things which say nothing to those who kill, murder, rape and take what is not theirs and still thing they know something about somalinimo because they do wave with the blue flag. If you thing that is what defines somalinimo then you are mistaken.
  14. I agree with the Aboowe here. These soldier fighting for a cause, you may not agree with that cause and you may fight for that cause. But when one surrenders, treat him humane and treat him how you wanna be treaded yourself in such a situation. Eventhaught, only a picture has been taken. But wat Xunjuf is suggesting, forced labor, is inhumane.
  15. If only the South would take the good examples from Puntland and Somaliland. If only we took the good examples from eachother and not the bad ones. Somalia would look really different today. That is the really issue and not who took the first step.

This should be the real objective of the SSC, praying and trying to unite the tribe instead of calling for war, dead and distruction in the year 2010.

  19. Originally posted by Peace Action: the sin of trying to breakup Somalia. The Somalia that we once wanted is with or without Somaliland broken. Western-Somalia and NFD are still occupied, Djibouti is still french. Why dont you consider those issue's a sin? Why dont you cry when you see Ethiopia occubying Western-SOMALIA? Because maybe you dont care?? How many threads did you write about NFD occupation by Kenya? 0, so dont act like you care about Somalia. You only care of becoming a General in the might Somali army like all you adeers.

  21. Nassir, this is nothing new. Only new is that elders from Dhahar didnt give the green light to Puntland. All the rest has been going on now for years. That is why many people on the ground support Somaliland because they are fed up how Puntland treats like second class citizens in their own region.
  22. Peace, it's a paradox. But love is always a paradox. You cant runt away from something which you dont love. Only love makes you wanna run(away). And that what you love, doesnt mean that its good for you. Do you really think that people love all those villages and desert areas of which we parade around nowadays on the internet, villages like Garowe, Oodweyneh,Dhahar,Buuhoodle, Bosasso, Borama. Dont you think we all would love to go back to Xamar, to my villa in Medina, have a drink on Liido beach, go out in Yuruba club, go to the national cinema, chew some khat on Jaziira beach, make out with xamari girls in the dark corners of Shangaani? with reer waqooyi girls in Hawl Wadaag, with koonfuri girls in Kaaraan. That I love all those things doesnt mean that it is good for me. Even if it would become possible again, who says that this time it will be for real and not a dream again? So let me stay in my village and not dream and face reality. For the moment that is more healthy.
