    Masha Allah, he recites beautifully.

     

    I enjoy listening to Abd Al Basit Abd As Samad. I get goose bumps everytime i hear him recite.

    Perhaps it was a private video that fell into the wrong hands. MMA if you have found his choreography disgusting then why show it here where you know pretty well that he will be ridiculed.

     

    He is only just a young lad who likes a particular type of music that's all. Actually his moves are not far off from those of RnB dancers which I am pretty sure some SOL members enjoy watching.

    I thought about it and it is definitely something I intend to do sometime in the future insha allah. Would love to teach disadavantaged children in Somalia. Probably from extreme poverty, find funding and open a free of charge primary school.

    I think what we need is SPEED DATING. A unique place where Somalis can mingle with the opposite sex with the opportunity to find a worthy partner. Of course there must be certain criteria, for instance

    1)You must be Somali

    2)Over the age of 21yrs

    3)Well educated

    4)Working

    5)No criminal record

     

    If one put together a sound business plan including various stats/bar charts and even use quotes from SOL and other similar Somali sites, this would be a profitable business.

    For those contemplating opening an internet cafe, this is for you. An untaped market with low competition and high number of customers.

     

    Quite few number of willing investors too.

    Perhaps the lack of a father figure or role model is to blame for this culture.

    Umu walaal i do not support any insults towards Islam. Lakiin walaal i also believe of freedom to express your views without demonising that of others hence why i am willing to listen to KK side of view.

     

    In addition, i don't believe in tit-for-tat if others deny you freedom ie the so-called 'west' surely we should think better than retaliate in kind.

     

    Having said I have overlooked his remark towards the prophet (pbuh) and here i am in agreement with you that the particular thread should have been deleted. And yes should he continue defaming Islam then he should be banned.

    Val, your manager sounds like a lazy git. just be proative and say NO next time. If the work she is giving is not part of your job spec either ask for a pay rise or simply refuse unless of course doing the extra work means personal development.
