But I do know this, there is plenty of history, sucession of verses, weak hadiths, strong hadiths, many rulings-we should be careful what we attribute to the prophet blessings be with him. When we say the Prophet has said-(that includes if we just heard it or read it)that is a heavy statement to utter and many of us attribute sayings to our nabi from hearsay. Becareful-that is to everyone As muslim who believes our nabi was most merciful among mankind, its hard for me to believe that. Sounds harsh. But Allah knows best.

I was never interested but for some reason now that I am older I got interested in my language. Best way to learn is just read articles, we alreadly know the language so sound it out. SOL here uses english as the main language of communication(shows alot doesn't it), go to Dood Wadaag section and try to read. Salaam.

If I am working, and she stays at the house it’s only fair that she cooks dinner-is that too much to ask? Our guidance is our nabi (saw), he helped around the house, washed his own clothes, did domestic work, so I am not implying we do nothing and let the wife do everything in the house. A marriage is partnership; 50/50 both should contribute and help each other out.
