Personally I blam it on both sides. People are getting married these days not knowing who the person really is. I mean their are a lot of girls being set up by their parents and when she gets married she doesn't really know the person because they didn't take the time to get to know each other. Men would lie about some things and the girl is also going to lie about some things when their trying to get to know each other. They get married and find out how the person really is; but they stay together becuase they want to make it work. A child is born the parents aren't getting along. I agree with motorcycle cruiser and barawaqo. Because their is no way a human being can treat another human being 100 % the same let alone four. I think I understand what MCC is talking about. The Qur'an allows a man 4 wives as long as he treats each equally in every way, right? Well, that is very difficult thing to do, if not down right impossible. There is no way any human being can treat 4 people equally...there will always be one who angers him more, one he likes to sleep wit better, and so on and so forth. Wat I mean is there will always be one wive he favours more than the others. And if that is the case, then it is wrong for him to hav more than one wife. This is why the number of Muslims who actually practice polygamy is not as high as some of u seem to believe.
