  3. Originally posted by NGONGE: ^^ Last season and the season before that Liverpool had one problem, saaxib. They did not have enough good strikers. The middle was fine adn the defence was world class but the strikers were rubbish (maybe some of it was down to the game plan that banitez adopted). This purchase though is likely to improve things. Keane might just be the missing link between middle and forward. The defence, mid and strikers might be class, but Chelsea and Manu possibly have 2 players in each of those positions. If there is an injury to Gerrard and Mascherno, what will the livpl mid look like? No great, I say! Whereas with Manu, if Ronaldo and Carrick injured, they still ahve players like hargreves, Nani,Anderson etc. For sure, liverpool will prove, but I think Manu and Chelsea will also improve on last season, which means liverpool will have to be on rollercoaster form, which I don't think they can achieve, given their many previous draws at middle table clubs.......... p.s. u tink Liverpool can win the title this season(realistically)? ps. Bently left Blackburn to play champions league football@ tottenham Nuune, you live in Ireland?
  4. He should get an award for best newcomer of the year to Somali politics and Nur Cade should be awarded with the best act.
  5. Robbie Keano is a legend, mate. And he has some unfinished business with the top clubs. Him and Gerrard running off Torres will significantly improve them, but I don't think Rafa has strenghtened Liverpool all around nor made a great improvement on last seasons team. I don't think they have the strength or quality to challenge for the title in comparison to Man Utd and Chelsea, that probably goes for Arsen too, who hasn't really improved the team after losing two of last seasons best players(Hleb and fLAMINI).

That's my advise to you, dear brother, dambi ha isgalin, you can't go around declaring takfeer on people!

And who gave you the right to declare people as Murtads?
  8. ^^I don't think it is the only explanation you could come up with, it is probably the only explanation you want to come up with, due to your prejudices. Ertirean support isn't free, but I already told you Aweys hasn't changed his position one IOTA , with or without Eritrea. The man is simply against: 1.Surrendering to Somali warlords and accepting them as legitimate rulers of Somalia( this is something Shariff vowed he would never do only a few monthgs ago) 2. Abandoning calls for Shariah and turning an Islamic movement into another secular-tribal power hungry entity 3. Legitimizing thousands of foreign UN troops to prop up the Ethiopian stooges (a job Xabashis couldn't do), whilst his forces have to be condemned. Granted the man isn't the greatest diplmat of politician in the world and he doesn't articulate an argument like Shariff can. But at least he has firm principles he adheres too, unlike Shariff who could argue for one thing one day, only to so eloquently argue against the same thing. Xita, I read an article in which he purpotedly said SOmalia SHarica lagu xukumaya( after he signed the Djibouti deal)
  9. ^^Still that doesn't prove that the man is being held ransom by Eritrea or that he takes his position because of his inclusion on the cimamad-terror list. Adi un baa waxa iska camirtay, with your mate Baashi!
  10. Marx, I was referring to this particular video, which is seemingly targeted at a particular group of people, not your other videos: quote:The video advocates that young Somali men should renounce their gang memberships and instead focus on making better lives for themselves without resorting to violence to get what they want.
  11. Somalis can duz in lONG distane running. I remember during Cross Country- a whole group of SOmalis would always be at the start. No doubt qar baa dashay 1978, but wrote themselves as being born at 1987 . I use to be good at long distance running. Well done to the ladz!

There is no communication and parents don’t make any attempts to learn English and integrate. Having said that, some parents have raised their children impeccably but their social environment is an obstacle. IBZ and Brof.GJ I agree these talks and events are a complete waste of time. They achieve no outcome and do very little, if anything for their intended audiences. ! The biggest problem in my opinion are these bogus community leaders. One of my colleagues wanted to organize an event dealing with gangs, gun, and knife crime and proposed that we should collect the money and pocket it ourselves. He was sacked on the spot of course! Real Impact Community doesnt tolerate such behavior. Marx, I actually meant you video was quite boring, especially considering the title and the audience it was supposed to be catered to. Most people go on Youtube to be entertained, they are also picky with what they watch. Either they specifically search what they want or they end on a video via another video. If I as a university student, got bored of your video, imagine the the yongsters? Maybe you need to spice up your video, most people don't go on youtube to watch a guy sitting down on a chair speaking for five or more minutes( at least not youngsters). Here are some suggestions brother, Get other people in videos, ie former prisoners or Somalis that transformed their lives, Get pictures, ie knife wounds and gun shots. Interview SOmali victims or relatives of Knife/Gun crime, And perhaps use some editing effects. And keep up the good work, saxiib.

Till he comes out of that place i withhold judgement bro... I couldn't help reply to the misleading tales(like the one above) being spread about the old colonel these days. Apparently, he has taken his firm position because the man is on the terror list and Eritrea his holding him to ransom. Both are nonsensical tales, because we all know his position is ideological- the colonel is againast foreign troops that prop up Somali warlords, period( whether they are Xabashis or they come disguised as "peacekeepers"".)
  15. Originally posted by Baashi: I have my theories why that is the case. One of my theories is that Sherrif, unlike Col. Aways, have no clannish agenda. In this regard, he does not care about the staying power of other clans in this seemingly never ending struggle for power and resources. He does not have a price (in the millions), and label as well hanging over his head. Col. Aways does. So how does Aweys have a "clannish-agenda"? I would have thought that his position was always clear, even before the ICU: no to foreign troops- be they Ethiopian or other forces,ie UN!
  16. Adeer, On the hand you say you are "I am speaking only for myself, whilst on the other hand you speak for SOmalinimo and SOmali dresscodes. I just want to know waxaad difacaysaid: Somalinomo, Somali culture, Somali people? And, I also just want to know: 1. What is the problem 2. Who is causing it 3. The solution After this, I will show that there are people who ignorantly attack and demonize Islamic symbols by hiding behind some bogus Somalinimo, which probably dates itself back to the last Marxist Regime( another bogus champion of SOmalinimo)!

GJ:Somalis and other Muslims do not sympathise with Arabs! It is the work of Arab Nationalists, Secularists and Westerners to turn the Palestine issue into an Arab struggle, when this was not the case, going back all the way to Salhudiin, who was a Muslim kurd. They sympathise with oppressed Muslims, who happen to be living in place which can be considered one of the phsyical symbols of the Islamic faith. Perhaps, you are "ill-informed"? Originally posted by Koora-Tuunshe: [QB] Look at how Obama's remarks of Palestine drew angry backlash from Somalis. Therefore, it is an insult to any MUSLIM, who understands the importance of the Alqsa to the history and future of Islam. Obama was a man who many Muslim hoped would offer a different approach to the Muslim and be slightly more diplomatic in the words and actions takes. Sadly, that has not been the case, although some will follow him blindly, even though he has insulted Muslims, because they see the Palestine struggle as just another, " Arab land issue!!
  18. quote:Marka I am not trying to unite anyone, nor can I unite anyone, I am me and I am speaking out for myself and no one else. I had the impression you are a Somalinimo champion, with your emphasis on SOMALI CULTURE, UNITY and whatnot. If you speak only for yourself, then why lecture about people destroying the SOmali culture and how SOMALI people should behave, etc? Surely it shouldn't matter if people call themselves ABU or wear cimamads! This is very important,as we need to clear this one up, before we proceed; what are you speaking for and defending? Somali Culture, Somali Language, Somali People, Somalinimo? mise waa la iska murmaya?

  21. Originally posted by General Duke: ^^^Geel Jiire , now Sharif Ahmed is no good right. was his usefullness limited to Asmara? No, Sheikh Shariff is an extremely influential man in Somali politics. And he is a good man, but with flaws like all humans. 22. quote: quote:Sheikh Mowlid Ahmad Nor who performs the call for prayer in the Jilu Sahaba mosque in the neighborhood of Howl Wadag has called for the re-opening of the mosques urging the TFG to remove Ethiopian troops from the mosques where they have established bases
  23. Then holy quran was defecated and ripped to pieces by your Xabashi brothers in Muqdisho. Even, neutral Ulema have approached the TFG entity to remove the Ethiopian soldiers from places of worship. Of course, they can't undertake such an action, since Xabashis are the protectors!
  24. Originally posted by xiinfaniin: NG, You are making assertions, and when I ask you to back it with reasonable facts, you even make more assertions. You said Sharif is clueless. You said he is disowned by his alliance. You said he has no fighting force, or at least you implied that he has no fighting force on the ground. assertion numero 1: Sharif is clueless. How can one go about dismantling this ****** assertion other than pointing out that the man has been anything but pragmatic and realist in his approaches? His moves so far attest to that. Perhaps you wanted him to continue wielding that AK 47 against American warships and Arial power. But he didn’t. Not only him but also the majority of ICU leadership are with him on this strategy. Since you say that you agree with him on his approach I shall not waste my time explaining how he is justified to bend his strategies not his principles mind you to attain the larger goal. What quarrel do you have with that adeer? aseertion numero 2: Sharif is disowned by his alliance. This is another statement that does not hold water. He is not disowned adeer. Few respected leaders, and I say few because they are few, felt that the majority went too far with this approach. After efforts to bridge the gap did not produce desired results, those who felt the peace approach is wrong broke off and named a new leadership. That was predictable. It didn’t come as a shock for many of us. No informed person could blame good Sharif for the eventual result. It was part of the risk inherent in compromising and deal making. In fact most appreciate that Sh. Sharif has spared no efforts to clarify and preach where they are going with this deal. It was the other side that seemed to be inflexible in the face of these new challenges. To assert, as you did, that Sharif is no good because some of his former friends are no longer with him is just nonsense adeer. He-said-this-before-and-now-he-is-saying-this argument is broken as I showed you earlier adeer. And that’s that. aseertion numero 3: He does not have a fighting force on the ground. He is alone. That is just rubbish, pure rubbish adeer. Take away alshabaab, who has no loyalty to any one in Asmara or in Jabbuuti, and few, insignificant clannish militia here and there, and what you are left with are, most of them are, Sharifs forces. Most of the Courts men, plus jabhal islmaayah (JIS) are technically his. When this deal is officially signed in the Kingdom you will see what I am talking about. What are you arguing against then? Those are facts. Are you willing to argue against facts? I mean come on xaaji. JIS rejected the Djibouti agreement, saxiib, talks between COURTS and representatives and Sheikh Shariff broke down and we know all about the Youthful movement. So, the overwhelmingly majority of those movements do not hold allegiance to Shariff. Of course, there are factors that could change their allegiance.
  25. Originally posted by Abu_Geeljire: Hence why I'm saying Sheikh Shariff needs to discuss this issue and come to an understanding with his brothers in Somalia. To agree to a large United Nations Force, recognising the T.F.G and perhaps even take seats in a secular government-and particpating in secular elections will probably sound like a great sacrifice to make people like Sheikh Ibrahim Suley and other Islamic Courts leaders inside Somalia, something Sheikh Shariff has to deal with before he makes any compromises or signs on the dotted line . That is, if we are to believe some of the so-called conditions being reported in the Somalia media! Well, it seems like he didn't take that advice and seems determined to go on his own path, which means that the ARS is divided into factions, ICU rift opened in Yemen and the armed grous at home are divided also. And, word is that more ways and mechanisms will be planned to create further fitna and disunity between Somali groups. Well done Djibouti!
