Somaliland: Electoral Commission Say Results Within a Week
NGONGE replied to Jacaylbaro's topic in Politics
^^ Or it could be possible that the head of security thought him a pampered qurba-joog who got the job through his tribal links. However, once he found out who he was and knew that he's ina so and so (the good man who is not known for corruption and nonsense) he saw the error of his ways and gave his newfound cousin all the privileges that were earlier withdrawn. At any rate, this anecdote is not really a reason for dispair. -
What is the English equivalent of "asbax", Juxa?

Somaliland: Electoral Commission Say Results Within a Week

^^ I can just picture Jacaylbaro leaning against a wall a few yards away from the offices of "Komishanka" and whistling at any one that comes out: "warya..eeen sigaar ma haysa? Oo maxaad o cabi wayday, nin ween baad tahay? Haye, Komishanka ka waran, Riyaale ma la badalaya? Yaa? O maxad o garan wayday, so meesha ka maad bixin? Xamaal baad tahay aa? Arr orodo naga tag" Weef..weeef "warya..eeen..ma halkanaad ka so baxday?..."... -
^^ Ilaa guurmaan idiin sheegayna dee. Siyaasada barta. The man is in Hargeisa and has been presented with the facts (and prospects) from a Somaliland point of view. He was impressed with the elections (obviously) and was seduced into believing that recognition is the natural next step for SL (which it is). Now, what positives can the recognition of SL bring (in the eyes of the world)? Oh, LOOK, there is a big piracy problem in that part of the world that we can make use of (it's not a farfetched assumption to think that those in SL told him about the harsh sentences this country applies to piracy). Therefore, a reasonable hypothesis any seasoned commentator could make would be to link the positive elections in SL to a future solution for the piracy problem. In other words, 1+1= xisaabta barta.

^^ Now you're forcing me to seek clarification.

^^ Between us two, I think it's you who misunderstood his meaning. I recieve A&T reception loud and clear.

Nigeria's president has suspended his nation's football team from international competition for two years after a poor showing at the World Cup. Special presidential adviser Ima Niboro told reporters the decision by Goodluck Jonathan will "enable Nigeria to reorganise its football". The BBC understands the Nigerian Football Federation is to be dissolved and an interim board appointed. Nigeria were knocked out in the group stages without winning a game. Niboro said: "This directive became necessary following Nigeria's poor performance in the ongoing World Cup." Under Fifa rules, government interference with national teams is strictly forbidden. ^^ Jonathan was not a starter for them. He only came on in their second game. They'll cope fine without him. Also I think missing Ayew for that game will be a blessing in disguise for them. They need a wise old head against Forlan's boys, not a young excitable kid who wants to attack at the wrong time. A&T, gartay. We shall resume our talk in the final, Korneyl.

^^ Yes. Yes. But what's that got to do with Juje jumping ship? You were just lashing out, were you not?

Acting like the English media here. England have a good team, they just had a bad tournment. Just like Italy, just like France and just like Nigeria (did you hear about their president banning the team from taking part in tournments for two years? Now that's what I call an overreaction).

^^ Every team has a suspect defence. Brazil conceded a goal to North Korea, saaxib. I think Brazil is a good team but not great. They rely on Robinho to bring the flair, Maicon to attack from the wings and Kaka to run down the middle. A proper team can actually blunt their attacking instincts whilst giving problems to their two graceless holding midfielders. In fact, I reckon Spain's style of play will cancel those two and their attackers will penetrate that defence more than once.

This thread suddenly became interesting. I doubt it is Marx. He promised me that he has no other accounts on this site and that all he has mended his way. He is now eagerly awaiting a SOL amnesty.

Article: Somalia at 50: bullets in the south, ballots in the north.

^^ Lets not go back over old ground. Talada qaado ninyaho. A new plan is needed. You can't rely on the SSC "jabhad" for long. Xaabsade meel o marayo wad argta. -
^^ What in the name of your Garowe slum are you talking about here and , again, what brought it on?

A&T, how many saves did each keeper make in the entire game? Portugal had some decent attacks that eventually got nowhere. Lakin adigu mala the increasing sounds of the Vuvuzelas as the attacks were developing made you think that they were good chances. Waa sheeko African, saaxib. P.S. Brazil will do real well to make to the final. Their two next games will not be easy at all. One can say they will be playing against proper teams now.

^^ Wax angry lagu noqdo ma jiraan, saaaxib. I'm simply disappointed with your Duke-like arguments these days. Intaa waad ka fiicniid, even when we didn't agree. Lets call it a shock of sorts. Hope normal service resumes soon. -
^^ He'll use the excuse of it being the final game in the group and that Brazil did not need to try. Brazil is solid but they don't have the flair of Spain. You've seen their two holding players; would you choose the cumbersome Brazilian two over the skilful Spaniards? Would you choose Kaka instead of Ineista or Xavi? Would you choose Fabiano in place of Torres (ok, maybe on goals scored so far)? Would you have Robinho in place of Villa? On last night's performance, would you choose Maicon over Sergio Ramos? Wouldn't you say the majestic Pique combines the toughness of Lucio and the speed of Juan? That leaves us with the man who performs the best last ditch tackles in the business, a certain Puyol. He looks like the weak link but is always there to see off the danger. The Brazilian keeper is better but not by much (and Pepe Reina is better that both anyway). But the thing that singles Spain (and Argentina) out is the bench. They can replace quality with quality, unlike Brazil.
