So don't come here telling me that I am polluted when in actual fact you are from a polluted country.

  3. Amazing! Everyone is on fire. Great! Let's face it folks we now live in a society that expects everyone to be beautiful. The white individuals are busy with cosmetic surgery, body art (tattos) and dieting (what to eat, when to eat and how to eat). Whereas the black folks are bleaching their skin. Society puts pressure on people. Women and men are expected to have certain body shape and to act in different ways. Diana user's believe by looking good they can become better person. Unforunately, women are under alot of pressure to look good ever single day. "I have to get my nails done". "My lips is too small?". "My hair colour is fading". "I'm too dark and therefore I am not pretty". The list is endless. Those living in America are familar with the program "Swan". Those who are not the show "Swan" is about turning ugly duckling girls into a beautiful swans. When asked why these girls want to change their appearance they reply "I'm unattractive, I want to look like a supermodel". The most common answer is "I am my husband to find me attractive again". These girls are no different to diana user's. Diana user's want to look good just like everyone else. Which I don't blame them. I personally think cosmetic surgery is no different to bleaching your skin. Society is to BLAME!
  4. Why do battered women stay in abusive relationships? I believe many women who are in a abusive relationship do not leave because they are financial unstable. Feel free to share your thoughts on this matter.

  8. Nomadic_Princess Thanks for confirming it with me. Just as I thought!
  9. According to Freud, one is able to repress their thoughts, action and desires. These diana user's believe by lightening their skin colour they can somehow hide their previous identities. Little do they know girls like myself can pin point them out. When I say girls like me I am talking about naturally light skinned girls. Nomadic_Princess Seriously, go and look in the mirror and come back and tell me honestly what your skin colour is? Waiting for your reply...

  11. My new year's resolution; - Stop insulting people, (Still trying to improve) - Stay healthy and eat right. Includes playing once a week. (So far I played netball twice this year) - Stay away from gossiper's (Doing well, mansallah) - Change my mobile number (Still haven't done that) - Come back to SOL and write a apology letter to those who I have upset or offended (I still have 4 months to go) - Be more friendly to others (Its so hard) - Take mother to Tanzania at the end of the year - Stop talking to my crush (It has been 5 months, a job well done). Sky Your angry? Towards who? A certain group of Somali's? I hear ya!
  12. Does anyone recall their new year's resolution? Would you be able to recognise your list? Did you want to lose those 10 kgs, girls? Was your new year's resolution a total success?
  13. ^^ What a _ _ _ _ _ _ _ (fill in the gaps). You looney.
  14. ORGILAQE, a very interesting story and I am sure you are not alone on that.
  15. Majority of Somali people do believe that light is beautiful. How else did I come up with much thing? Dark skin is known to be ugly and unattractive especially if the girl is dark skinned. There are more dark skinned Somali's then there are light skinned. Take a good look around. You must actually notice if you bother to open your eyes. Even though my statistics results isn't accurate, it says that 80% of Somali guys are dark and 70% of Somali girls are dark. Not only are Somali people suffering from superiority complex but so are other black races. This reminds when I was watching Ricki Lake- this one mother had two daughters; one was light the other was dark. The mother favoured the daughter that was lighter and called the other one a "black sheep". You could imagine me laughing my head off as I watched the show, wiping my ever tear. That show was aired 2 years ago, I believe. To the person who said not only black races use Diana, was completely right. These Diana products were first produced for Arabs and Asians. Till Africans got their hands on this "wonder product". Many black nations are suffering from superiority complex. Imagine what this product could do for Sudanese people? Perhaps they are not aware of it. Whatever the reason may be, I would advice them to use it. Sometimes I feel like as though diana user's have but some sort of spell on me. My eyes start to see stars as I see them. I begin to feel as though the sun has set on my face. That's how bright there are. There is not point in lying to ourselves and saying black is beauty. "I'm black beauty, blah blah blah". Reality check. Dark is unattractive. I personally think light is beauty, not dark. If these bleaching products are going to help these girls with low self esteem out then I cheer them on "Use it, just make sure that you tell your future spouse about the wonder product"
