  2. Abu Yusuf Does the same apply for men?
  3. ^^^ You probably are but in the future here use this emotion to express to show everyone how funny it really is---> Bint Abee Saeed Unforunately I cannot read the exact name of the book. I can only recall "Women's fatawa (Blank)". And I don't think it was either books you have mentioned. Haddad Brother You still going on? Build a brige and get over it. You and I have totally misunderstood one another. When I said "opinions"- I meant in regards with the teachings but your opinion. Why would I ask for your opinion when I can think for myself? Peace and blessings to everyone!
  4. Goonle I love attention? And you love to receive my attention. Is that correct? Having said that I am very greatful for the fact that you and I don't see eye to eye. I'm a wadaad and a feminist? Wallahi, you made me laugh. Which one am I more though? Hate to poor you with my life stories but I am concentrating more on my deen lately then anything else. Unlike you who is concerned about your nuts are heading next! Question? Do you encourage your female relatives to do the Nikko? Especially your cousins, Originally posted by Goonle: Lexy Plz dont associate me to your chat pals on somalinet, I'm sure you are a member on Somlinet forums, just like the rest.

  6. Dear Diary How can I make that monkey (Goonle) disappear? Why is he always quoting my diary entries? Does he not have other matters to tend to rather then reading my diary entries? The funny thing about "Cyber world" is that everyone believes to know what kind of person I am. I remember chatting to a guy by the nick of "Alpha Man" (SomaliNet chat), quiet a interesting character he was. Whenever we get the chance to chatted he would use our time to analyse me. He thought he completely knew me. I was secretly smitten by him. Until I realised I needed a reality check, logged off and turned back to life once again. Now what seems to be a tree hugger aka Goonle is invading my personal thoughts. Since day one I didn't think anyone would be paying attention but Goonle is keeping a very close eye on me. Goonle you are right about me staying away from the Nikko, for I have far more pride to do such a disgusting dance. It's bad enough women are perceived to be sex objects, topping it off by doing the Nikko is like adding cherry on top of an ice-cream. The Nikko doesn't tackle my fansy. I have my fingers crossed that Goonle will not reply to this entry. Good-day Back to real life!
  7. Dear diary As I try to get in touch with my tradition I find it impossible for me to ever dance to a Somali song. I feel as though the musical instruments are louder then the actual singers themselves. Nikko is a form of dance that should be banned at all cost. If it cannot be banned then it shouldn’t be displayed in public revenues. I believe Nikko should be privatised, "Husband and wife affair". What a deadful song "Nagma" is. What is the meaning of "Nagma?". So what you are in love, big deal. Must you tell it to the whole word? King Khalid? Khalid King? I wish I could find that Somali website that I use to be a moderator. What was it called? Horseed.com? www.horseed.com? No, it can't be. It has been 2 years since I disappeared from that website. I need to do some serious research. My mission: - To find that site. Horseed. - Do my cousin's English essay. - Don't answer my crush's call. If I do answer then cut the conversation short. This surely doesn't sound like mission impossible.

  9. Dear Diary As I struggle to make this diary entry I can only think about my bed and how late it is. For I am too tied to reply to annoying members. > >> >>> >>>> >>>>> >>>>>> >>>>>>> >>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>> >>>>>>> >>>>>> >>>>> >>>> >>> >> > .......... 10. Brother Haddad I never asked for your personal opinion on this matter. I just didn't want you to give me your opinion. If you plan to say anything in regards to my question then I would like you to show proof.

Thanks to Allah I have never been seriously hurt or injuried. The age of 18 and no surgeries so far. Haddad, do you have anything to prove that you are allowed to remove the hair on your arms/legs? Or is that your opinion?
  12. Dear Diary Certain members from Somaliaonline are beginning to annoy me. There think that my topics are a waste yet they make the effort to read and reply to it. I wish I had the ability to block them from my topics. Lately I have been thinking hard and long about my future. Eight years ago I told many people of my intentions to leave Australia and make my way to a Islamic country. But no one believed me and in a few years I will prove to them that I am serious and always have been. Once Somali girls finish high school they begin to think about marriage and having loads of children. Why do they feel the need to claw into a man? Don't these girls realise that once that man leaves them, they will have no financial support? And they cannot maintain a stable job with their high school certificates? Why don't our Somali sisters educate themselves first? Or at least continue their education if they do decide to get married. The girls that once had promised me that we will one day have a business of our own have broken the promise and are now married (manshallah), yet they do not find happiness within that marriage. By the time they have 10 children and are still unhappy, I will be a very wealth woman with 3 beautiful children, inshallah. As I have choosen to educate myself before been tired down to a man. May all glory be to Allah- the one and only.

So how do u survive there? I feel for u lol. I went to sydney on a highschool trip through asia. We went to thailand, singapore, and sydney for a few days. There was way too much beer involved dont remember much. So u got lots of black folks down there? It's you who I feel sorry for. My faith is what helps me to survive. As for you and beer, may allah help you! Amin.
  14. Asalamu Alaykum common writer's on the Islamic section. I was recently reading a book on women's fatawa. A certain individual asked whether the removeal of any hair on your arm was approved and the answer to that question was "Yes". I have always been taught never to remove any hair on your legs and arms. Was the book bending rules for Arabs? Considering the fact they are hairy? Brothers and sisters please do give your opinion on this matter and what you have been taught and also what the religion says. May allah guide us all. Amin!

  16. Dear Diary Days go by as the Australian community becomes obsessed with the "war on terror". Australia is only involved in the "war on Iraq" to been recognised by other big countries such as America. The Australian people are fearing that they are the next target for terrorism. A Ausralian guy (with the Aussie accent) has been named the new face behind Al-Qaeda, as he threatened the West. It's come to my attention that the Australia's along with the American's are more infatuated with terrorism then compared to other European countries. Every second article is about terrorism. What would happen if Australia was the next target of terrorism? Do they deserve it for their placement in the Iraq war?

  18. Dear Diary As I prepare for my warm, comfortable bed, I decided to spare a few mintutes as I write on SOL. I can't believe how fast this year has gone. 4 more months till this year is over? Judgement days seems to be getting close. Life is getting shorter. Muslims are becoming the target, already are the target. It's important that I become a better muslim for I do not want to end up in hell. Inshallah I will never see the hell fire. I pray to allah that all my family members enter jannah. Amin. I pray for those muslims living in the West to hold onto their religion. And not to fall into the hands of the non-believers. May allah all guide us to the right path, AMIN. Good-night,
  19. 7 pages? Looks like we are not going anywhere. Can we also turn this thread into a "Diary Entry" for the sake of bordem?

Good one Lexy, seriously you should recieve some kind of award. I was always a firm believer that women bring women down and you Lexy are a perfect example. Do you need someone to open your eyes? I don't necessarily have to play a part in such a country that has brought itself down. Many generations have already done that. As for the tribal stuff? I'm sure your parents have arranged marriaged you with someone from your sub-clan. Women are natural beast. There is no denying that. It's natural for women to be b!tches. A classic example is those girls who recently had more then a few nice words to say to one another. Pick up a magazine or turn on the television, women are meant to look good and are seen as sex objects! What is your augment? Are you saying you shouldn't look good for yourself? Fine then good and smell and look like a homeless person.

  24. 7 Of Nine Originally posted by 7 Of Nine; How is your morning? I woke up this morning feeling angry with the world. I blamed everyone around me for not reading my lecture notes for my morning class. I woke up late and I blamed my cousin for keeping me up all late. I wanted to murder my cousin because she took my jacket and left me nothing to wear this morning. I'm angry with her also for leaving without me. She made me take the bus. Originally posted by 7 Of Nine; Who is feeling ill and who is being forgetful? Thank allah I am in good health, expect for the flu. But inshallah I will get better. I didn't forget anything apart from reading my lecture notes thanks to my cousin. Originally posted by 7 Of Nine; Who wants to b*tch and who is in love? I don't want to be a b*tch. I'm working on my manner's. How to treat people better, etc. And I'm in love, with myself!
