  1. Xattaa Abdiladiif waa shiddeeyeen

Allow alle. Abdiladiif please defend Farax if you will but lets not resort to the argument of cimaamad baa dhacday iyo macawis baa furatay.

Hawshaa Ayyoub baa leh, oo loo daayey ee haku qabsan please

Xiin :D , I said Daware was wrong on this in my first post so I don't see where I defended the guy. Sxb, you can't blame me for pointing out your inconsistencies and all I was asking you was to be fair regardless of whom it might be----xaglinta iyo nin jeclayska iska dhaaf....Qulil Al-xaqqa waloow kaana muran

Farole committed human crimes while Daware made a political slip-up. What disturbed me was your reactions to these events. Imaging some of your loved ones or relatives were sold, killed, tortured etc by Daware and I defended him and deny any wrong doings and still do just because he is my tribe? As a man I know and respect outside of SOL,it was surprising to see this coming from you. These behaviors are expected from some of the lawyakuus on SOL but not Xiin or at least I thought.

  2. Xiin, I might not be saying much balse runtii cimaamadiibaa kaa dhacdey adeer but then again, this isn't the first time is it? ---- :D:D .

Here is ina Daware's respond to the guy.

National Assembly Deputy Speaker Farah Maalim has told off Foreign Affairs Minister Moses Wetang’ula for calling on a parliamentary committee to investigate his activities while on official duty abroad.

The Deputy Speaker said he led a delegation of parliamentary committee that visited Somaliland in December and would this week present a report before the House on the tour.

"I have no obligation to write to Mr Wetang’ula or the Executive over my trip because Parliament works independently from the Executive," he said.

Mr Maalim said Wetang’ula, an accomplished lawyer, should have known that under the Standing Orders the Deputy Speaker is in charge of all committees of the House and cannot therefore be summoned by any of them.

"If an issue arises, the fate of the Speaker and that of his Deputy can only be decided by the House and not departmental committees," he added.

And Maalim noted that even the Speaker does not have the powers to preside over the committee unless the Deputy Speaker is absent or directs so.

"Wetang’ula still lives in the old Kanu days, which he misses and cherishes so much when ministers used to summon MPs and the Speaker at will. Parliament is independent at least for now and he should let go his dreams of the Kanu days," he added.

    Report

The Chairman of the Defence and Foreign Relations Committee Adan Keynan yesterday called The Standard to refute claims he said his committee would summon the Deputy Speaker.

"We received Wetang’ula’s letter but under the Standing orders we cannot summon the Deputy Speaker," he said.

He said they had compiled a report on the trip, which would be tabled in the House.

Maalim said the Somalia Transitional Federal Government envoy Muhammed Ali Nur had welcomed the visit.

  4. ^Xiinow, I'm not really surprised by the wailing and crying of the lawyakuus here but just asking myself what the hell happen to Odaweyne and his crew?

Why are they NOT defending the man mise reerka rabaan iney isku jabiyaan?

Xiin, Macalin is wrong on this but its funny that it took you couple of months to come out and admit that what Faroole did was wrong while it didn't take you not even few days to see what Macalin did. Sheekadu waxaad kudaysaa, "fiqi tolkii kama janatago"

  7. All I see is a disgruntled lady using the tribe card against a man she had a fight with. Whether he is tribalist himself does not really matter here.

They were both working against somali people, feeding them lies and propagandas, and contributed to the destractions of the somalis for working for that organization.

She is voicing her displeasures because its convenient for her now. She was probably quiet when her friends from other tribes were fired one after another by the Alleged tribalist, Mr. Yabarow.

Poster, if you have her contact info, advice her to swallow her pride and move on instead of airing our tribal mentality in the net

  8. ^^ I was reading this few days ago and was saw in my mind people flocking to Canada from afar places when he comes home.....I could see it happening and I always believed he will be released InchAllah!

What can my enemies possibly do to me? My paradise is in my heart; wherever I go it goes with me, inseparable from me. For me, prison is a place of (religious) retreat; execution is my opportunity for martyrdom; and exile from my town is but a chance to travel.”

There is a lecture out there on youtube by Awlaki about this quote..... and the rewards awaits him if they succeed killing him as they seek his death. Very moving walah!

  9. One of the kids' mom is in jail (she hid him in her house for 3 nights after he came home soaked in blood and asked her to get him a ticket to Canada) and will probably be prosecuted for not turning her 17-years old murderer in but the parents of the second kid are not in jail bc once they found out the first mom was put in jail, they turned their son in.

  10. "One of the pleasures of living away from home is that you become the master of your destiny, you avoid the constraints and limitations of your past and if need be create an alternative life for yourself. That way everybody becomes the other and you are the centre of the universe. You are a community when you are away from home – the communal mind remembering. Memory is active when you are in exile"

The take-away message from Nuruddin’s Ottawa lecture, (there are more than one key message here), for the diasporic Somalis is this: if we want our children to thrive, then we owe it to them, and to ourselves, to plant roots in our adapted homelands. We should not waste the opportunity to recreate our lives by getting stuck and dwelling on what we have lost; rather we should focus on what we have gained, even if life in exile does not perfectly match our ideal aspirations of what should have been.

Nurradin is a great author and very intelligent but his speeches are sometimes anit-Islam and very offensive

  14. ^Great Documentary. It was very sad as well. Reer Minneapolis come out in droves. I was impresssed by the number of youths adults came out. Also, it was totally managed and made it possible by youths. Kudos to the brothers who put together this

Its time oldies retire because our youths are ready to lead the struggle. Egga innigga iyo inta ile eg ama igga wayn arintoodu waa talo iyo tusaale uun.
