  1. I fear that alot of our fellow somali ppl are like those who stradle between remberence and no remberence at alone. That would certainly explain the ease to which we can get up to anythin and everything as somali's (are we alive or dead?).

    peace out brother Mujahid

  2. That was a good contribution Ind the brother sounds very Knowledgable. I agree with the essence of his speech i.e. where is our Jihad, i would also like to agree with Yaquub and Bulo in that i feel that west countries would luv for muslim n muslim countries to only recognize with this Jihad (nafsi), and use an exaMPLE of literal jihad i.e. Kashmir, Palestine etc etc as places where, as their put it islamists (????) groups commit acts of terror. so this is why i think we should always be careful because it is true they (Kufar)will never be satisfied with as until we are like them.

  3. Thats a very interesting proposition, i have heard of it somewhere else before, but i must admit the fact that i have never heard it debated on any sort of current affair programmes or documentories as a possible reason for the current 'wild fire' spread of aids currnetly in south african region makes me find it like u urself have said hard to believe, but then again its not beyond this mad & evil Galo to try to do if it will some how secure natural resources @ A cheap price.

    Good contribution cheehaad

  4. Lets just hope and indeed pray that the dirty greedy hands dont make it to the only think that could make a prosperous somali future if and probabely when peace n stability returns to all the somali regions. The U.N, W.T.O, I.M.F and of course oil addicted american administrations would of course love to take advantage of our simingly endless weak and pathetic situation, and quite frankly in this current climate the americans are just simply iching to get any excuse to get back into any region that is rich in Oil or gas resources, hence its unsuccesfull attempt to try and broaden its so called war on terrorism (which real is an attempt @ global domination)to somalia n sudan earleir this this year.

Inshallah the will be unsuccessfull in all their attempts to try to continue to oppress the muslim countries the continue to stay in, and their arrogance will back fire on them.

  5. 6. am wondering if someone can help me. i have just made friends recebtky with someone i like n respect alot, the seem to be religious and respectfull of their deen, however the person shocked me when the told me that they have a dog as a pet, which as far as am aware of is a definate no no, and on the same level as eating haram food for example. so my question is can someone help me in advicing me how i should persude this friend of mine that this is the position and that it is indeed haram to have a dog for a pet. thx

  7. Mujahid Walaal keep up the good work bro another gr8 topic and discussion, i unfortunately am abit too ignorant about my deen, and this is a thing i find am changing right now allahmdulillah, and i find ur contirbutions here very helpfull and inspiring. so continue posting more topics and am sure u'll find ore ppl in the islamic forum.

    My allah reward ur efforts.

  8. Many brothers and sisters before me have posted specific reasons y they are against it or sympathetic towards suicide attacks. so i will diviate slighty from the current responses and ask simply what would u do after seeing ur entire family blown to little pieces of flesh n blood? huh.

Even today as i right this response 15 more palestinans including 8 children and a women have been pronounced dead a futher 15 have life threating injuries, 145 more are wounded and an entire block destryoed in the latest israel attrocitiy.

The Palestinans are only humans, no more no LESS as us. so we shouldnt really be supprised by suicide attacks. of course their also wrong, but wot are they to do, give up and lie down dead?

  9. sorry to dampen u high spirirts but not much really to celebrate on its universary no? am not trying to jump on u or call u Triblistic climi, just stating the obvious and unfortunate stituation that currnetly be falls all of somalia i.e. somaliland, and the rest of somalia.

  10. Indeed very interesting. a reseveral of the defintion to suit ones one need. 'intimidation by govnt', to 'intimidation of govnt' which is patently absurd in respect of the united states. i Mean how can one intimidate the u.s? Just goes to shows the hypocricies that are inherent in the way the propergators (which in this case is u.s, u.k etc etc) to try to discribe wot goes on around the world.

  11. The continued israel policy of targeting 'so called' Militant strong holds (see yahoo article below) continue's to result in huge loses of palestinian lives, increasingly more women and children. My question is can any of us realy have sympathy for the israel's when a suicide attacker attacks. And Can any so called 'moderate forces' continue to where rose tainted glasses @ these atrocities, while calling any palestinan reprisal attacks as terrorism.

Israeli Strike Kills 15, Including Hamas Commander

Tue Jul 23, 7:27 AM ET

    By Shahdi al-Kashif

GAZA (Reuters) - Israel killed the commander of the military wing of Hamas and 14 other Palestinians including eight children in an air raid on his home that also wiped out a crowded city block Tuesday, hospital officials said.

Israel To Return Some Tax Revenue

    (Reuters)

At least 145 other Palestinians were wounded in the overnight missile strike, defended by Israel as self-defense against suicide bombers but condemned by U.N. Secretary General Kofi Annan ( news - web sites) for exacting high casualties among civilians.

Salah Shehada, head of the Izz el-Deen al-Qassam brigades, was killed a day after Hamas's spiritual leader, blind Sheikh Ahmed Yassin, said it would consider halting suicide attacks if Israel withdrew from occupied West Bank cities.

Israel described the missile strike as one of its most significant blows against Palestinian militants. But Hamas vowed revenge, raising the possibility of another welter of violence -- after a month of relative calm -- endangering a fragile new dialogue between Israel and Palestinian moderates. The Izz el-Deen al-Qassam brigades have killed dozens of Israelis in suicide attacks since the start 22 months ago of a Palestinian uprising for independence in Gaza and the West Bank.

Officials at Gaza City's Shifa Hospital said 15 people were killed -- Shehada, his wife, a daughter and his deputy commander as well as nine children apparently from neighboring homes demolished by the missile launched by an F-16 warplane.

The youngest dead was aged two months and 15 of the wounded were in serious condition, Shifa doctors said.

A Reuters reporter saw lumps of flesh piled in a local morgue that medical workers said were retrieved from the wreckage of Shehada's home.

The residential block in the teeming Daraj district was a spectacle of devastation. Locals said there was no forewarning of the missile attack, not even the sound of a plane.

SOME MAY STILL BE TRAPPED IN RUBBLE

Dazed residents stumbled through dust and debris, looking for loved ones as ambulance sirens wailed. Children were rushed away on stretchers in the immediate aftermath of the attack.

Residents and rescue teams continued to comb the wreckage on Tuesday morning for people who might still be trapped.

Palestinian cabinet minister Saeb Erekat told the BBC the attack was a "despicable" war crime meant to stifle diplomacy.

"In my opinion this is Sharon's effort to torpedo any effort to revive the peace process," he said.

Israel captured the West Bank and Gaza in the 1967 Middle East war and handed over the main towns to Palestinian self-rule under interim peace deals in 1994-95. But Israeli troops and Jewish settlements are present in swathes of the territories.

In a statement confirming and defending the air raid, the Israeli army said: "Shehada was behind hundreds of terrorist attacks carried out over the past two years against the Israeli military and Israeli civilians in Israel."

A senior Hamas official vowed revenge for "this is a massacre against our people. Retaliation is coming and everything is considered a target.

"Hamas's retaliation will come very soon, and there won't be only just one (attack)...After this crime, even Israelis in their homes will be the target of our operations."

The civilian casualties drew swift condemnation by the United Nations ( news - web sites) and European Union ( news - web sites), and a Palestinian cabinet minister said it battered new hopes for steps to revive a peace process raised by the resumption of limited talks this month.

Israeli troops reoccupied much of the West Bank last month after suicide attacks killed 26 Israelis and the talks focused on easing the economic and humanitarian plight of 700,000 Palestinians under army curfew and blockades in the territory.

"This extra-judicial killing operation, which targeted a densely populated area, comes at a time when both Israelis and Palestinians were working very seriously to curb violence and restore cooperative security arrangements," EU foreign policy chief Javier Solana said in a statement issued in Brussels.

In other violence, the Israeli army said troops shot dead two Palestinian gunmen near the Gaza road junction of Kissufim.

In the West Bank, Israel soldiers killed three Palestinian gunmen near the city of Nablus and Israel Radio said they were involved in a Palestinian ambush of a bus near the Jewish settlement of Emmanuel a week ago.

Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon ( news - web sites) described the air strike as a "great success" but said he regretted deaths of civilians. He added that Israel must be on full alert for Hamas reprisals.

U.N. BEMOANS KILLING OF CIVILIANS WITH MISSILE

U.N. spokesman Fred Eckhard said Israel had a legal and moral responsibility to avoid the loss of innocent life.

"It clearly failed to do so in using a missile against an apartment building. The secretary-general calls on the government of Israel to halt such actions and conduct itself in a manner fully consistent with international humanitarian law."

Gideon Meir, an Israeli Foreign Ministry spokesman, noted that Israeli children have been killed in Palestinian bombings.

"I do expect the Secretary-General to understand that Israel's actions come out of self-defense. This was a precise Israeli air strike against a known terrorist responsible for hundreds of attacks on innocent Israelis in the past few years."

At least 1,467 Palestinians and 559 Israelis have been killed in the uprising that erupted after U.S.-brokered talks on Palestinian statehood in the West Bank and Gaza stalled.

  12. come one sisters, am sure all of us have heard of the phrase prevention is infinately better than a cure. Bby simply knowing that sex before marriage is zina a Major sin one should abstaine from committing it, because trying to see if u can marry the person u have committed this act with is a wrong way to approach this subject.

I agree with everyone in that as more n more muslim fce new pressures to intergrate or assimilate with the communities the reside in, we should rember wot makes us different to the galo or adon or who ever it may be, we are MUSLIMS.
