^ It is an unfortunate event, but it got to be done so the enemy does not hung the coats easily till Puntland returns. BTW, The unfortunate event is the division among the LA's themselves. IT can be reconciled.

Further, there was an indication a tribalism inspired gang called "Somaliland" was involved. as reported, they were last seen running away from the murder scene. .. There is the Somali Republic flag inside the ONLF organizational flag. The bottom red means the current struggle and the green freedom on top.

They are called the "Ooga-Dageen people" or the Higlanders as they are called from within Ethiopia. Anyway, it is a political suicide fo a member country to lay claim to take on another's recognized land. Unless by force and about in your face approach. The western-Somali groups are there as well, they do exist with reduced activity eclipsed by the ONLF group. Why the dreaded O is there? they are the only people who are available to continue this alone. In fact, the rest of the Somali groups (clans) went against the "struggle" by surrendering all their ambitions to the "enemy" or friend as they call them.

This alleged fax was said that a guy in Europe wrote it in an article published by ION (Indian Ocean Newspaper). IT Most likely is false for several points that has been discussed here and else where before.

Punland fragmentation is not a possitive thing and would likely not happen. IT is just in the dreamers murky mind. A better candidate for a new Somali state, off from Somaliland could be called "Awdaliland". It can be real if Reyale, the glue, is not re-elected.

Even three party system is a load for a place so small like Somaliland. Kulmiye serves as the resemblance to opposition, the UCID as kind of sidekick role to UDUB's ruling party; what need is there for a fourth? unless for a redundant, maybe a communist one..

Unless a particular clan is implied, then there is no way to tell if they're from Somaliland or not. These kind of things make the case for separation even harder, or even impossible. The Awdalitans, the Djiboutese, and the SSC can rightly represent themselves as Somalilandese if they so wish do, don't they, save the Cafar.

Haneefah, well put up response sis, thanks for your enlightening words. There can never be one single positive article that can appeal to all parties here, esp since ONLF is not a popular topic. Each one bears a bag of grudges to.. in the mean time, the struggle continues regardless of what goes here so long as the pain over there is fueling it.
