Malika, I use to try and avoid drawing living things when I was in school as well. There was a hadith in Riyaadu Salahin that if you draw living things then on the day of judgment Allah will ask you to give it soul. I cannot even remember if it was a sahih Hadith but it freaked me out enough for me to drop when I was in yeah 9. A&T and Sayid you guys complain too much. I know Sayid attention seeking bey kaa tahey!

"Oh Allah. Please look after mummy and daddy and sister and brother and all my family and the Muslim Ummah and, oh oh oh, yeah, Stoic from SOL (that's Somaliaonline). He's studying to be a dentist and is going through a hard time you see. Sorry, I forgot you knew that already. Norf had a new baby so please look after him and his family because I promised I'll pray for them. Sheh is looking for a new job and I hope she gets it. Ibti is organising a charitable event and I pray that she collects loads of money. Nuune is flying planes now and I'm worried about him. Please god make sure he lands safely every time. Lily plans to wear a dirac on Eid day (I don't approve) but I pray the garbasaar doesn't fall down. Finally, I pray that adeero NGONGE finds his lost marbles and one day starts acting his age.......” OH MY god!!! P.s. That is such a sweet dua, if she was to make it. P.s.s. A&T. Ciid wanagsan

^^It is also the 27th today stoic, so few hrs of praying will do you good inshallah, May allah make it easy for you I'A. Hang in there.
-
^^Wlc Stoic, this placed missed you too...but who are you again?? Nope Ngonge, not at all. They made themselves at home and chatted about the good old days, laughed all the way to tarawiix and back and continued laughing and shouting till they left. They gabayiid to each other, cussed each other, did some amaan and teased each other. They were a bunch of really cheerful, friendly and were comfortable enough to ask for more tea or say haad faalxaalki uu baa noo haadey.

^^^Loool, your far too kind, dinner at 12.30, hilib and baris, as far as I am concerned I did give them suuxur! Nuune how so??
-
^^^He did not need to insist, they knew luguma caasumi just sambuuse. Lool @ ma hindi ba! HAHAHA lool, I am so going to tell him you said tht! haha loool. hahaha. I think courtesy always applys. I did not say he was my first atheer, just somewhere baan ku suu maarneh in our long list of names aka abtinsiryo. Lily yeah that would've made sense. Oh well whatever Ajar I would've got, I think I used it up complaining. alhumdulilah, at least they did not stay and ask for suuxur eh.

Lily I think just waax lagu yidi noo kaaley afur time. I blame the host but for a different reason. You see there are only few days till Ramadan ends, why not wait till then and invite them for lunch. No one ever listens to me until after the fact. This morning baa la leyeh I think after Ramadan would've been easier.

Sheh, no he is not, but the rest were. It would be rude to leave them at home, and my brother will give them cold food, and forget the salad or dessert and make too much mess. It is really easier to do it yourself sometimes. Whenever he does something I spend hrs cleaning after him.
-
^^^Yeah because they did not eat their tigis of baris and tigis of hilib. What would have done with it if they did not come back?? and it would be rude for them not to eat the food that was cooked for them! Sheh lol. I would love to see the day Oodyashu start serving their own food.
-
^^^My brother was just the driver, these are the big people of the clan (oodayashi) I think they came to bless the little people like us. My brother had to drive them all home, he got back for fajar, we were all too tired and sick of food to eat by then and we all overslept this morning. Ngonge what were we suppose to do?? Tell them to go??
-
Sheh to where I would love to run away. We invited guest over for Afuur yesterday. They had Afuur,( sambusse and the usual) They said they were too full to eat dinner (the hilib & baris) and to wait before serving, 8.30pm they have still not asked for their dinner. I evil eye my brother and he says take it easy. Me and my edo made a deal, that she would miss tarawiix and stay behind and I will clean the mess when I get back. I run off to Tarawiix, I come back at 11.45pm and only one of them was still home. I was mutter under my breath hurry up will ya, when the door opened behind me and in walks in my brother and three other guys. "Oo waad naag soo deerays" my brother says. I'm think they have come back for dessert or something. They went in the living room. I checked out the kitchen. The food was still there in its tiigis. Edo walks in and says oh you are here, daadb ka ku shiid and sii. I'm like what?? They have not eat, she said no they went tarawiix like you and now they want their dinner. To cut a long story short, they left at 2am. I had to clean and serve. Who the hell gets invited to someone’s house for afur and leaves at 2am. What is all that about?? Afternoon North, how are the kids and Mrs and yourself??

^^I said imagine, they are always arguing about the starting and finishing date and we always assume we are right, but what if we are wrong?
-
She, I hope it was not the 23rd I wasted that nyt on sin I hope it was last night or friday I'A. Last night I was think, we don't even know if we started Ramadan on the right date, so we might even have it all wrong, imagine we've been focusing on the odd nights (which if we started to the wrong day might in fact be the even nights) ) Nxt yr I'm going to do the full ten inshallah. Hey nuune.

Lily I hope you did not laugh at the poor girl in her big heels! Lol. It is getting cold now anyway, too cold for Dirac, I find it too big and messy to wear it, have to spend all the time tucking in, not stepping on the endz and falling, make sure the silly shaalmaad stays on, covering your upper body, it is too much hard work. But I've seen people who do it effortless. Lily I saw a really nice skirt in Monsoon, but if you are even an inch taller than me, it will be ankle swingers, they also had beautiful dress that could double up as a skirt (there was not much of an upper half anyway) Other than that I've not been in shops since last Jan. I am looking to do major shopping next month. It sure is good to be working again. Malika: Wow mashallah that is very kind of you, you see if you did not live at the end of the earth I'll demand my plate of sweets and snacks. You live in a nice area by the sound of it. My Eid day: I am going to go to prayers I'A at 8.00am, be back home for 9am. Go to sleep, wake for Zur and back to sleep. When I wake for Asr I am going to order take away, and sit in bed probably answering Eid messages and catching up on watching some movies. Reading Malika message makes me think I should change the curtains, but I really can’t be bothered. I am so looking forward to my EID day, I too am sad Ramadan has gone so fast!!
