    When topics are being discussed on public forums try to not personalize it, try to not make it about you (ex. I am phd student, the school you go to, how much you make, posting pictures of your family etc..) debate/discuss on issues without all that.

     

    And yes, I agree with you; it's matter of becoming a renter for life or getting a mortgage, because not too many people have large sum of money sitting around somewhere.

    let every man architect of his own fortune. If you want a small family find a a girl that also wants the same, and those that want to have large family find a mate that wants to have a large family. Many of us here are from large families and confess that having a large family has its benefits.

    I didn't dismiss their research but rather wanted to know more about that research. How was the information/data collected and what methods were used.

    There are many that don't exactly follow what media is telling them and following information they're reading from authority figures. In the future if you're using some authority body to back your arguments, please break it down for the skeptics. Thanks :)

    Well damn :) , I don't mean to make this about me. My credentials don't really matter here. You made an argument and you used stats to support it - I simply asked for you to enhance your argument, I shouldn't be the one to do the homework here , the onus is on you. You may believe the authority is infallible, but as hard for you to believe there are some that don't buy into the BS (especially true for social sciences work).

    Hi, I would like to better understand this since I don't buy into stats.

     

    Would you happen to know how they gathered those stats, and who were asked? what was the sample? few people or the entire population?
