    About the same time, during the Darwiish movement, he formed a Resistance movement to fight against the Italian colonialists. Was he inspired by the Darwiish?

     

    Beginning in 1912, he organized and, for
    nearly twenty years
    , led native resistance to Italian colonization of Libya. Italian armed forces captured and hanged him in 1931.

    Is it possible that Somalia's flag is a cursed flag?

     

    Within 50 years of it's existence this is what Somalia's flag brought:

     

    - Corruption

    - Presidential assassination of Abdirashid Ali Sharmarke took place

    - Siad Barre's coup took place

    - The infamous Dabadheer drought of 1974 took place

    - War with Ethiopia took place

    - Civil war that had no meaning took place

    - Division/Separatism took place

    - Religious terrorism took place

    - Another major drought took place

    - Chemical waste in Somalia's shores

    - Corruption still taking place

     

    Maybe it's time a New flag should be inaugurated. What do you guys think?
