  2. ^ dearest juxa, i was going to write your life story but i guess you're too good for these empty accolades and conferments?
  3. 54 - NG. born into an upper middle class northern family NG was destined for success from a birth. he, however has not fulfilled the legacies of his forefathers whose conquests were legendary. NG was educated in Dal-Islamiya school before attending the international school of Dubai when it was all sand and anything beyond that seemed a mere mirage lol. NG was never fortunate enough to be granted UAE citizenship' despite being born there as the so-called golden generation of ciyaal arab third culture kids and was forced to leave the UAE around the late 80s for London. here he settled among refugees and other provisional burao-ians that seemed to still acknowledge his convinced invisibility. in 1992 during the stock market crush dubbed 'black wednesday, NG made his first million after receiving insider information from an unidentified source. during the height of summer 1993, whilst still living the play-boy lifestyle of yesteryear's, NG was sentenced to 16months for perverting the course of justice for his role in the CND insurance insolvency affair. after serving time behind bars NG was quickly accosted by the NHS as a smoking cessation adviser for Tower Hamlet's impoverished somali community. here he made a name for himself and managed to salvage some sharaf among his community/tribe. NG was the never the type to just lie around and wait for miracles to occur. he applied himself and soon gained the first of his many formal education diplomas/degrees. he enrolled into NEWVIC college and studied to become a plaster during the middle of 1996 before realising that money was to be made in community projects for the newly arrived refugees and asylum seekers. NG Community services was his first venture he co-founded with a distant relative. being already familiar with financial irregularities, NG made provisions if ever there a rainy day, and started to bend the books and soon had over 50,000GBP in various hagbad circles. in 1996, NG was again arrested and but his sentence was suspended due to lack of evidence. by 1999, NG was already a millionaire, acquired the new tastes of the nouveau riche and was a regular contributor to the new labour party. after coming 3rd behind George Gallway in the constituency of bethnal green during the 2005 elections as an independent, NG was bankrupt and depressed. in the mid of 2006 he visited his homeland -Somaliland, a regional administration in northern somalia and invested in several livelihood projects and established a new political party QUMAN on centre right policies. he was arrested and put behind bars in Mandeera prision along with gaboose and ina haashi by the former president of somaliland Dahir Riyale Kaahin. in 2008, NG returned to london with heavy debts. he sold off some of his properties and repaid them with interest. he now works a regular 9-5 job commuting on the hammersmith and city line every morning and has only 40,000GBP in savings. NET WORTH $78,000,00
  4. 83. JB - JB is a businessman of notable success particularly as a gang-master in the booming people smuggling industries. in 1993, it was alleged he was the first to help a group of burao-ians cross the deadly waters off the coast of aden to a better life. it was then that he made his first million, that is somali ginbaar shilling. being shrewd and ultra conservative back then he invested his money into a few precious mineral stones he found in the berbera highlands but to no success. he found himself on the lecture circuits in the hargeisa region as a fiery preacher of extremist leanings. around the turn of the new century JB was broke and down on his luck before realising that his life was meant for a greater purpose. it was then that his prayers were answered and he become successful as a master of ceremonies for SOL hargeisa branch, receiving regular income as an tour guide and an entertainer of sorts. he followed this up by establishing several internet cafe businesses during the height of the internet boom in somaliland in late 2000s, before running it into the ground by spending it on his wild and crazy indulgences in summertime and other places of specific interests to him. JB is now worth 89,000,000 Somaliland Shilling(SLSH) which, when adjusted for inflation and currency fluctuations, gives him a NET WORTH OF $14,833.33 US Dollars
  5. 2. NORF - a steel magnate from the northern english town of Sheffield. has been consistently ranked among the most successful industrialist in the world over the last 10 years. in 2003, invested a fortune into the failing UK steel after the companies fortunes went downsides lol only to improve the companies luck and profits. NORF has since gained an interest in collecting japanese bonsai trees and has one of the most accomplished collections in the world. in 2005 he moved to Dubai and has since seen his fortune quad-triple by investing in the now once booming construction and real-estate business. has won the prestigious Bloomberg Arabia coveted 'business man of the year' gong three years straight in 2006. 2007 and 2008. in 2008 after all the relative successes, he developed premature Alzheimer and has gone underground, rarely making public appearances. All along the riverside. Great restaurant boats, markets and galleries- I love the science museum and the national art gallery. There are also fantastic dance studio- the best of them is Pineapple Studio near Covernt Garden, that took up my sat mornings and great for stress relieve. But most of all I miss walking in the parks; with primrose hill the top of the pack- walk all the way down to regents park and you will feel like a different person. There is a £1 cinema in Leicester Square- only real Londoners go there and are members- the rest go to the £15 one . I love London. LOL@CHILLAX, are you making up words again IBZ, low budget and low costs activities, thats our IBZ! LOL@ dance studio, got a few moves ya? kkkkk i use to go regents park dee, how come i didnt see!

LOL. the charcoal coloured black hawk down 'raashinkan belongs to caydiid' screaming type.

  17. Haatu;879565 wrote: Well there's plenty to do. For starters, there's the weekend ritual of playing footie at Goals with the mates (Goals centres are dotted throughout the city). Then there's Westfield(s) as Somalia said for a bit of shopping. If you're an Ed Sheeran listening 21st century hippie, there's a whole host of museums and other white-boy stuff you can take part in. If you just want a quite day with maalaayacni Somalis, Southall is your place If you want some...ehem...stimulants, Brixton is not a bad place. Avoid the East totally, nothing useful happens there. The area is dead as dead can be (Excel centre is OK tho) LOL@HATU, waar bal ninkaan eega, kulaha ed sheeran kkkkkk we're not talking about the things you hear about in the slums of eastleigh or wajir district but the things you can actually do as a londoner LOL! your recommendation are crap!
  18. Apo, you seem like a rather classy guy, what can you do in london these days? i agree that shisha places are a social deathtrap.
  19. ah a london thread. angel islington is just great, notting hill is also just fantastic. excellents bars in these two areas.
  20. i'm glad you recognise this eedo Blessed. I have no intention of knowing you either! LOL. my name is certainly not cabaade and if you're intending to call me this from this day forth then i will not hesitate to sent a PM to admin to complain about this but also the PMs you've been bombarding me with recently. OMG, can you stop this madness please! for goodness sakes!
  21. ^ isnt there a hadith about naming children? lol@Blessed, kulaha contradiction lol, you say that we're personally acquainted? i do not know you dear!
  22. you see that's the thing NN. i'm not a unique person. in fact i'm very common and quite regular to be honest. this name is bigger than me but hey it is a fantastic ice-breaker in awkward situations. during my short but richly experienced life thus far, I've convinced many people that i was the heir to a small African kingdom and that my name was royal and that it was an criminal offensive to mispronounce it! names are very important and naming a child determines their life long progress, i feel. its key that a small deliberative meeting that consists of an expert panel should accompany the child name ceremony.
  23. i have a very traditional name and i'd much prefer if i had a normal name like everyone else. I feel the name that best compliments my personality is aidarus or one of those fancy and popular names like khalid, faisal, jamal etc. i feel my real name doesn't do me justice and i've previously tried changing it by a deed poll before considering its meaning and the reason behind it. i feel forever cursed carrying this name and its causing me serious set backs in life. at least its a traditional, somali and unlike these foreign names. my name is Boqore! LOL.
  24. ^ NN, are you a fan of these 'culturally neutral universal names' ? and does your real name fall under this category?

The region had some of the largest factories and plants processing agriculture, meat and fish in Africa. However petty qabiilism that is also displayed in this topic made sure all progress was halted and now none of these petty clans are enjoying what could have enjoyed had they been less myopic, and most likely they will not enjoy any of this for as long they maintain this paleolithic clan tradition above meritocracy and the collective good. However all this can be a reality in less 5 years time! lol@adams, don't you ever tire of the blame game sxb? lets talk about the small changes occuring and add whatever we can to that. apo, the snide negative comments are not really necessary!
